  • Publication number: 20240118838
Abstract: A method includes calculating a plurality of first index values indicating access loads from one or more first virtual storage devices accessing a first physical storage device of a plurality of physical storage devices, to the first physical storage device, in a case where access loads from the one or more first virtual storage devices to a plurality of second physical storage devices including the first physical storage device are equalized across the second physical storage devices, the plurality of second physical storage devices being associated with the one or more first virtual storage devices; and outputting a plurality of second index values indicating access loads from a plurality of virtual machines to the first physical storage device, the second index values being obtained by summing the calculated first index values for each virtual machine associated with each of the one or more first virtual storage devices.

  • Patent number: 11015554
Abstract: A straddled vehicle includes an air cleaner and a resonator. The air cleaner includes an air cleaner case, an air-cleaning element arranged inside the air cleaner case, and a duct that is attached to the air-cleaning element. At least a portion of the duct is arranged inside the air cleaner case, and the duct guides the air toward the air-cleaning element. The resonator has an outer wall arranged around the duct. The duct and the outer wall together define at least a portion of a resonance chamber of the resonator.

  • Patent number: 8134658
Abstract: To provide a liquid crystal display module that eliminates the loss of light emitted from a light source. The present invention provides a liquid crystal display module including: a liquid crystal display panel; and a backlight, wherein the liquid crystal display panel includes an upper polarization plate and a lower polarization plate, the backlight is configured by a light source and a light guide plate, the light guide plate is configured in such a manner that the thickness of an incident face where light of the light source enters is larger than that of a portion opposed to the lower polarization plate, a light shielding member and a reflection member arranged on the light shielding member are provided at portions, of the liquid crystal display panel, corresponding in the upper direction to the incident face of the light guide plate, and the reflection member is formed along the light guide plate.

  • Publication number: 20070290965
Abstract: The invention provides a miniaturized liquid crystal display device used in a mobile phone or the like which prevents the possibility of short-circuiting of lines of a flexible printed circuit board which supplies a power source or the like to a liquid crystal display device due to a phenomenon that a punch-out hole formed in the flexible printed circuit board at a plating terminal is brought into contact with a frame made of metal. Pins are formed on a holder on which a liquid crystal panel is mounted, and the pins of the holder are inserted into the punch-out hole formed in the flexible printed circuit board at the plating terminal and a pin hole formed in the frame. Lines made of metal are exposed on an inner side of the punch-out hole formed in the flexible printed circuit board at a plating terminal.
