  • Patent number: 11305388
Abstract: This machine tool is provided with: a bridge which is provided on a base in such a way as to straddle a moving body in a direction (X) perpendicular to a direction of movement (Z) of the moving body at a stroke end (E2) of the moving body; a pallet exchanging arm which is provided above the bridge and which engages with a pallet (P) supported on the moving body and a pallet (P) on a pallet loading station, lifts both pallets (P), and pivots about a vertical axis (Ov) to exchange the two pallets (P); and an arm drive device which is provided projecting upward on the bridge, and which moves the pallet exchanging arm along the vertical axis (Ov) and causes the pallet exchanging arm to pivot about the vertical axis (Ov).

  • Publication number: 20210078120
Abstract: A machine tool having at least two rotary feed axes (B, C) is provided with: a base; a column which moves in a left-right direction (X); a main spindle head which moves in a vertical direction (Y); and a table which has a workpiece attachment surface and in which the workpiece attachment surface is oriented in a plurality of attitudes including a horizontal attitude and a vertical attitude. The column is guided in the left-right direction (X) by means of an inclined linear motion guide which faces forward and upward. The table includes: a first table stand having an inclined rotary guide which faces backward and upward; and a second table stand which is rotationally fed about an inclined axis (Oc) perpendicular to the inclined rotary guide. The inclined linear motion guide of the column and the inclined rotary guide of the table are disposed facing one another.

  • Patent number: 7331742
Abstract: A hollow portion of a spindle through which a draw bar and a disc spring assembly are inserted has a closed chamber structure and constitutes an oil pool chamber in which a lubricating oil is filled. The bearing portions that support the draw bar in the oil pool on both sides have the same inner diameter so that the volume of the oil pool chamber does not change when the draw bar is moved forward and backward. As a result, the lubricating oil is not pushed out of the oil pool chamber. Thus, a spindle unit can be provided in which a clamping device including the draw bar and the disc spring assembly for clamping a tool or a workpiece pallet at the forward end of the spindle can be reliably lubricated, so that the friction on and the breakage of the clamping device is reduced and that the service life of the unit is lengthened.

  • Publication number: 20070098511
Abstract: A hollow portion (7) of a spindle 5 through which a draw bar (9) and a disc spring assembly (11) are inserted has a closed chamber structure and constitutes an oil pool chamber in which a lubricating oil is filled. The bearing portions (21, 39) for supporting the draw bar (9) in the oil pool on both sides thereof have the same inner diameter so that the volume of the oil pool chamber does not change when the draw bar (9) is moved forward and backward. As a result, the lubricating oil is not pushed out of the oil pool chamber. Thus, a spindle unit can be provided in which a clamping means, consisting of the draw bar (9) and the disc spring assembly (11), for clamping a tool or a workpiece pallet at the forward end of the spindle can be reliably lubricated, so that the friction on and the breakage of the clamping means is reduced and that the service life of the unit is lengthened.
