  • Publication number: 20250015570
Abstract: A coating removal apparatus includes a plurality of contact portions that are in surface contact with an outer circumferential surface of a coated electric wire having a circular cross section, the coated electric wire being formed with a notch in a circumferential direction on the outer circumferential surface, the contact portions being configured to sandwich the coated electric wire, and moving means configured to move the contact portions sandwiching the coated electric wire and the coated electric wire relative to each other in a longitudinal direction of the coated electric wire. The contact portions come into surface contact with an end side of the coated electric wire that is closer to an end of the coated electric wire than the notch, and are moved relatively to the end side in the longitudinal direction of the coated electric wire, so that a coating of the coated electric wire is stripped.

  • Publication number: 20250015569
Abstract: Each of cutting mechanisms of a device for forming a notch for stripping includes: a stopper which is capable of approaching and/or being separated away from an outer circumferential surface of a coated electric wire; a biasing part biasing the stopper; a cutter blade; a stopper movement mechanism configured to, when forming a notch, move the stopper together with the cutter blade to bring the stopper into contact with the outer circumferential surface; and a cutter movement mechanism configured to, after bringing the stopper into contact with the outer circumferential surface, forward the cutter blade to a position corresponding to a specified notch depth for forming the notch.

  • Publication number: 20250015571
Abstract: Each of cutting mechanisms of a device for forming a notch for stripping includes: an electrically conductive notch forming cutter blade; a contact detecting section configured to detect a contact between an outermost conductor of a coated electric wire and the notch forming cutter blade based on a current through an electric circuit including a power supply connecting part, the outermost conductor and the notch forming cutter blade; and a notch forming movement mechanism configured to move the notch forming cutter blade in an intersection direction intersecting an outer circumferential surface, wherein upon detecting the contact by the contact detecting section during movement of the notch forming cutter blade, the notch forming movement mechanism is configured to adjust a position of the notch forming cutter blade in the intersection direction and position the notch forming cutter blade to a position corresponding to a specified notch depth for forming notches therein.

  • Publication number: 20250007259
Abstract: A device for forming a notch for stripping includes a cutting mechanism which includes an electrically conductive cutter blade; a contact detecting section for detecting contact between an outermost conductor of the coated electric wire and the cutter blade based on a variable capacitance between the outermost conductor and the cutter blade; and a movement mechanism for adjusting a position of the cutter blade and thus positioning the cutter blade to a position corresponding to a specified notch depth for forming the notch, upon detecting the contact between the cutter blade and the outermost conductor by the contact detecting section during movement of the cutter blade.
