    Abstract: In this clip for mounting a component, a first plate portion includes first engaging pawls, and a second plate portion second engaging pawls, are linked by a linking-side plate portion in the rear end region on a side having either one of the plate portions, and first and second side plate portions which bend and extend from the first and second plate portions are in contact on the side having the other plate portion. The linking-side plate portion and the first and second side plate portions cut through a gap portion formed as an opening in the rear of the first and second plate portions of the clip, and gap portions formed as openings in both sides.
