Abstract: A sealing device 1 is provided with, on an atmospheric side A inclined surface 24 of a seal lip, a forward direction screw 26 which extends in a direction of forming an angle of attack with respect to a direction Z of forward rotation of a rotation shaft 2 and exerts pumping action with respect to sealing target fluid during the forward rotation of the rotation shaft 2, and a reverse direction screw 27 which extends in a direction of forming an angle of attack with respect to a direction of reverse rotation of the rotation shaft 2 and exerts pumping action with respect to the sealing target fluid during the reverse rotation of the rotation shaft 2, in which a droplet prevention screw 29 for the sealing target fluid is provided on the reverse direction screw 27 side of the inclined surface 24 so as to be positioned in a region for forming the angle of attack.
