  • Patent number: 9077057
Abstract: A battery module case includes: a first case in which a plurality of first battery cells is held in a stacked state and which includes a first plate formed with a first cutout portion from which an end surface of one of the first battery cells which is adjacent to the first plate is exposed; and a second case in which a plurality of second battery cells is held in a stacked state and which includes a second plate confronting the first plate and formed with a second cutout portion from which an end surface of one of the second battery cells which is adjacent to the second plate is exposed. When the first and the second plates are arranged adjacent to each other, the first cutout portion and the second cutout portion define a passage in which cooling fluid can flow between the first plate and the second plate.

  • Patent number: 9048036
Abstract: A switching apparatus includes a base, a housing, a main switch for mechanically disconnecting a power supply circuit and an interlock switch for electrically disconnecting the power supply circuit. The switching apparatus also includes a lever which is rotatably supported by one of the base and the housing and also is engaged with an engaging section formed in the other of the base and the housing. The lever causes a wall of the housing to be slid in a depth direction of an annular groove of the base in accordance with a rotation of the lever. The interlock switch is disconnected ahead of the main switch by separating a movable terminal of the interlock switch away from a fixed terminal of the interlock switch when the lever is rotated to cause the housing slid in a direction away from the base.

  • Publication number: 20120270081
Abstract: A battery unit includes a plurality of battery cells and a cooling substrate. The battery cells are disposed so as to hold the cooling substrate therebetween. A face of the battery cell other than a terminal face thereof where terminals are provided is attached to a cooling surface of the cooling substrate so as to transfer heat between the cooling surface and the face attached thereto.
