  • Publication number: 20230405259
Abstract: A ventilator includes a pipe having a ventilation path, a relief valve, and a spontaneous-breathing valve. The pipe includes a main port that allows a gas to be inhaled by a patient and a gas exhaled by the patient to pass therethrough, a relief valve port that is in communication with the main port through the ventilation path, and a spontaneous-breathing valve port that is in communication with the main port through the ventilation path. The relief valve is mounted on the relief valve port and configured to be opened in accordance with the pressure in the ventilation path so as to be capable of allowing communication between the ventilation path and the outside of the pipe and releasing the pressure. The spontaneous-breathing valve is mounted on the spontaneous-breathing valve port, and the spontaneous-breathing valve is configured to be opened in accordance with an intake pressure at which the patient spontaneously breathes.

  • Publication number: 20230277799
Abstract: Provided is a new ventilator that can be used for pulmonary resuscitation without requiring an electrical driving source. A ventilator includes a housing. The housing has an input port through which a gas is introduced into the housing, a main port through which the gas that is to be sent to and inhaled by a patient and a gas that is exhaled by the patient pass, an exhaust port through which the gas inhaled or the gas exhaled is exhausted from the housing, a ventilation path connecting the input port and the main port to each other, and a relief valve that is opened by receiving a pressure from the ventilation path and that allows communication between the ventilation path and the exhaust port so as to release the pressure.

  • Publication number: 20230093153
Abstract: To reduce the suffering of the patient and enable easier removal of excess fluid such as pleural effusion fluid from the chest space, the disclosure provides a catheter for chest drainage intended for removal of excess fluid from a chest space of a living body and to be placed in the living body in such a manner as to extend from an inside of the chest space to an outside of the living body. The catheter includes a passage member formed of a flexible sheet and having a passage through which the excess fluid is to be drained, and an indwelling member formed of an elastic body and provided at a proximal end of the passage member. The indwelling member has an inlet that allows the excess fluid to flow through. The indwelling member includes a retaining portion spreading in a flange shape and being retainable at a chest wall.

  • Publication number: 20230084589
Abstract: A suction-target guide pipe that is connected to a suction tube of a suction device includes a guide-pipe main body that includes a connecting portion to be connected to the suction tube, a lid that is provided at an end of the guide-pipe main body and that has an outer peripheral surface and an opening on a distal end side, the outer peripheral surface being formed of a tapered surface whose diameter increases from the distal end to a proximal end, and an end cap that is movable so as to open and close the opening of the lid via a connection cord that is connected to an end of the lid. These features are provided to more easily achieve minimally invasive suctioning of a suction target.

  • Publication number: 20220151583
Abstract: An auscultation-assisting tool includes a hollow sheet detachably attached to a diaphragm included in a chest piece. The hollow sheet includes a first film portion detachably attached to the diaphragm included in the chest piece, a second film portion to be brought into contact with an examination site and being deformable in conformity with an irregular surface of the examination site, and a hollow portion provided hermetically between the first film portion and the second film portion. A transmission medium that transmits sound is sealed in the hollow portion.

  • Patent number: 11224716
Abstract: A relief valve in which a valve body is automatically properly opened/closed by pressure of gas while having a simple device structure, and a device including the relief valve. In a valve-closed state, a first pressure receiving surface portion receives pressure of gas from a valve hole to smoothly open a valve body, and in an open position after the valve is opened, a pressure receiving area is enlarged to a second pressure receiving surface portion, and the first pressure receiving surface portion and the second pressure receiving surface portion are surrounded by a peripheral wall portion formed on a back surface of the valve body. Thus, the valve body continuously receives the pressure with the pressure of the gas being reduced, thereby allowing the valve-opened state of the valve body to be stably maintained to set pressure.

  • Patent number: 9072859
Abstract: An inhalation mask, an artificial nose unit, an anesthetic gas concentration detector, an extension tube, an anesthesia attachment, and an elastic bag are in communicative connection in sequence. The elastic bag has a mixing chamber formed therein and has an anesthetic inlet, an air inlet, and an outlet port each formed at the boundary to the exterior. The anesthesia attachment includes a hollow structure and an evaporation injector syringe. The outlet port of the elastic bag is in communicative connection with the hollow structure through its opening, and the evaporation injector syringe tightly mates with the interior of another opening. The anesthetic introduced into the mixing chamber is vaporized and then mixed with air introduced from the air inlet into mixed gas. The mixed gas is supplied from the outlet port to the inhalation mask by compressing the elastic bag or other procedures.
