  • Patent number: 8939640
Abstract: An electronic cassette that is equipped with a drive mechanism capable of accommodating a radiation detection section respectively in two casings and that is capable of changing the surface area of the radiation detection section to be externally exposed and the exposure position on the radiation detection section. Deterioration of the radiation detection section from radiation can be distributed due to control such that the same exposure position is not repeatedly employed. An electronic cassette is accordingly provided that does not suffer from uneven effects of deterioration from radiation within a single sheet radiation detection section even with repeated use.

  • Patent number: 8431902
Abstract: The present invention provides a radiographic imaging device that may image radiographic images with high sharpness while suppressing a drop in sensitivity. Namely, a radiation detector, in which a scintillator that generates light due to irradiation of radiation and a TFT substrate on which plural sensor portions configured including an organic photoelectric conversion material that generates electric charges by receiving light are disposed are sequentially layered, is positioned in such a way that radiation that has passed through a subject is made incident from the TFT substrate side.

  • Patent number: 6490412
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a camera capable of exactly displaying the number of residual films, even if there is concerned with such a situation that at the time when layered films remain in a film pack, the rear cover is opened and the film pack is re-mounted. The operational amplifier 236 is used to detect a current IM conducting through the feeding motor 214, and the detected current is subjected to the AD conversion by the MPU 220. The display unit 61 displays a predetermined number corresponding to the number of films layered within the film pack having the shielding plate, or a number in which one is subtracted from the number of residual films stored in the storage section 210, according as it is detected that now discharged one is the shielding plate.

  • Patent number: 6370336
Abstract: An auxiliary drive system controls an actuator to force movable members such as shutter blades of a power-driven shutter system to cause predetermined movement so as thereby to run in the movable members when the the power-driven apparatus is loaded with a battery as a power source, when the power-driven apparatus is powered on or when a predetermined time has passed since the last operation of the movable members.

  • Patent number: 6006040
Abstract: A shatter device includes an exposure opening. Shutter blades slide in an opening direction to a maximum open position to open the exposure opening so as to provide an exposure. Then the shutter blades slide in a closing direction to close the exposure opening. An opening diameter is determined in accordance with the maximum open position, and is controlled smaller according to highness of subject brightness. A solenoid slides the shatter blades in the opening direction. A position detecting photo interrupter detects a reach of the shutter blades to a reference position while the solenoid slides the shutter blades in the opening direction. A controller obtains a timer time in accordance with the subject brightness, and starts measuring elapsed time in response to a signal from the photo interrupter. The solenoid is turned off when the measured elapsed time comes up to the timer time while the shutter-blades are slid further in the opening direction.

  • Patent number: 5907728
Abstract: A film magazine includes a spool which is supported for rotation in a magazine body and around which the roll film is wound, and a data disk which carries bar codes representing information inherent to the film magazine such as the ISO sensitivity, the number of exposure frames and the like of the film and is rotated together with the spool. The spool is held in a predetermined position when the film is completely in the magazine body so that the angular position of the spool relative to the magazine body represents the condition of use of the film. A photosensor is disposed in a fixed position to read the bar codes while rotating the spool and the condition of use of the film is distinguished on the basis of an angle by which the spool is rotated by the time the photosensor reads a predetermined particular point on the bar codes.

  • Patent number: 5708887
Abstract: A camera has a feeding motor by use of which photo film is fed. 24 groups of perforations are arranged along one edge of the photo film, and regularly at a distance L2 one group from another. Each of the perforation groups is associated with one frame, and includes two perforations arranged at a distance L1 therebetween. To control the photo film feeding, pulses are generated in synchronism with the photo film feeding. The perforations are detected through a sensor. The pulses are counted while the photo film is fed by the distance L1 or L2, and during a period started upon movement of a first one of the perforations past the sensor and finished upon detection of a second one of the perforations at the sensor. A counted number of the pulses is compared with a reference value upon finish of counting the pulses. If the counted number is equal to or more than the reference value, the feeding motor is decelerated.

  • Patent number: 5625850
Abstract: When a photographic film cassette is loaded in a camera and a rear lid of the camera is closed, a current adjusting circuit supplies a light emitting element of a photo-sensor with a drive current while stepwise increasing the value of the drive current and comparing a maximum value of the output signal from the photo-sensor with a predetermined maximum level. The value of the drive current, at which the maximum value of the output signal reaches the predetermined maximum level, is stored as an optimum current value. Thereafter, photographic film is advanced from the cassette to position each exposure frame in an exposure aperture of the camera, with reference to the position of perforations formed in association with the exposure frames. The position of each perforation is determined based on a rising edge of the output signal from the photo-sensor while driving the light emitting element at the optimum current value.
