    Abstract: In a computer program product which makes a computer operate as a game apparatus, the computer is operated by a “load value determining means” that, when a “remaining quantity” of an energy value representing the quantity of energy owned by the character is less than a “variable value” set as the energy consumed as an equivalent value for using a skill at the time that an operation for instructing the performance of the skill set for the character is proceeded, performs the skill, and determines a load value based on a difference between the remaining quantity of the energy value and the variable value; and a “restriction processing means” that places a restriction according to the load value on a parameter relating to an ability of the character during the time that the energy value is restored up to a predetermined basic value.
