  • Patent number: 10567548
Abstract: This disclosure relates to system and method for system and method for determining service prioritization in virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI). In one embodiment, the method comprises receiving the plurality of service requests from a plurality of virtual desktop (VD) components distributed across one or more VD sites, and, for each of the plurality of service requests, determining a user experience index for a service request based on a weightage tree for a VD component initiating the service request and a weightage of a VD site comprising the VD component initiating the service request. The method further comprises prioritizing the plurality of service requests based on the user experience index for each of the plurality of service requests.

  • Patent number: 10496269
Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a method and a system for measuring a User Experience (UX) in a Virtual Desktop Environment (VDE). The method comprises receiving a metric corresponding to each of one or more parameters associated with a plurality of user touchpoints in the VDE, assigning a dynamically calibrated weight to each of the one or more parameters, and calculating, a cumulative weighted score indicative of the user experience, based on weighted scores calculated for each of the plurality of user touchpoints, wherein the weighted scores for each of the plurality of user touchpoints are calculated based on the corresponding dynamically calibrated weight and the corresponding metric. The present disclosure improves user experience in the VDE.

  • Patent number: 10404687
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method and system for providing a pre-launched virtual desktop session by a smart scheduling server. The smart scheduling server predicts a pre-launch time to launch a virtual desktop session for a user based on a login pattern of the user monitored for a pre-defined duration, initiates a pre-launch session for the user based on the predicted pre-launch time, where the initiation comprises performing a plurality of actions for launching the virtual desktop session for the user. The smart scheduling server authenticates the user in the pre-launched initiated session based on pre-defined account credentials associated with the user, generates a security token for the user based on the authentication and provides a pre-launched virtual desktop session to the user when the user logs in to the virtual desktop session based on the security token.

  • Publication number: 20190163515
Abstract: Disclosed subject matter relates to virtual environment including a method of resolving anomaly events occurring in virtual environment in real-time. A virtual assisting system identifies trigger points in relation to the anomaly events affecting user experience and retrieves resolution policies associated with each trigger point from policy database. Further, virtual assisting system computes a cumulative weightage score for each trigger point based on metrics and weights associated with each predefined trigger parameter recorded in resolution policies and thereafter computes a User Experience Index (UXI) value by correlating the cumulative weightage scores. Finally, one or more actions corresponding to the one or more trigger points are implemented based on the UXI value to resolve the anomaly events occurring in the virtual environment.

  • Publication number: 20180219974
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method and a system for dynamically provisioning personalized desktop to user in a remote site. The method comprises identifying presence of user in the remote site. Upon identifying the user in the remote site, contextual data related to the primary desktop of the user are collected and compared with the contextual data of one or more secondary desktops in the remote site. Based on comparison, one of the secondary desktops, having similar contextual data as that of the primary desktop is selected as the personalized desktop to the user. The disclosed method helps in automatically identifying a roaming user on a remote site and automatically provisioning a desktop to the user in the remote site, thereby improving user experience and efficiency of a user in the remote site.

  • Publication number: 20180217891
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method and system of resolving faults in a virtual desktop environment. The method includes receiving, by a central monitor of a data center, a plurality of fault reports from one or more client devices. A fault report of the plurality of fault reports includes at least one fault detected by an agent running in a client device of the client devices. The client device operates a virtual desktop provisioned at virtual desktop site. The at least one fault detected in the virtual desktop is based on executing one or more tests by the agent on one or more layers of the virtual desktop site. The method further includes analyzing the fault report and applying a remedial workflow for the fault report to resolve the at least one fault detected in the virtual desktop of the client device.
