  • Patent number: 10558990
Abstract: Disclosed is a method and system for dynamically tracing a value realized by an Information Technology (IT) service. The method may comprise generating a correlation matrix representing relationship between a plurality of dimensions associated with an IT service, wherein the correlation matrix is generated in form of a plurality of quadrants, wherein each quadrant represent the relationship between at least two dimensions. The method may further comprise capturing a hierarchy of parameters associated with the dimensions, wherein at least one parameter, in the hierarchy, is contextually related and dependent upon at least one other parameter. Further, the method may comprise computing a relative value realization index (rVRI) using the hierarchy of parameters, wherein the relative value realization index is indicative of value realized, by the IT service, with respect to the dimensions.

  • Publication number: 20150294255
Abstract: The present subject matter relates to performance evaluation, and in particular, relates to a parameter-based performance analysis of an organizational program. The method comprises receiving program specification associated with the organizational program. Further, a set of performance parameters may be selected from among a plurality of performance parameters being provided to a user. The plurality of performance parameters pertain to an analysis category. Further, a parameter score for the organizational program, with regard to each of the set of performance parameters, may be determined, based on predefined scoring criteria of the organizational program pertaining to the corresponding performance parameter. Subsequently, an overall performance index may be ascertained by consolidating the parameter score corresponding to each of the set of performance parameters, based on a weight assigned to each performance parameter.

  • Patent number: 9009653
Abstract: A method(s) and system(s) of identifying quality requirements for a software product to be developed is disclosed. The method includes receiving input data from a user. The input data is indicative of objectives to be met by the software product being developed. The method further includes mapping the input data with a pre-defined product quality requirement model (PQRM). The PQRM is retrieved from a database and includes a taxonomy tree configured to define a plurality of quality characteristics (QCs), a plurality of sub-QCs, a plurality of quality objectives (QOs), and a plurality of quality requirements (QRs) for the software product. Further, the method includes identifying at least one OR from the plurality of QRs applicable for the software product. The identification is based on the input data. The method also includes generating a product requirement report (PRR) for the software product based on the identification.

  • Publication number: 20140358643
Abstract: Described herein is a system for designing processes in alignment with the business objectives. The system includes an objective formulation module defines a number of business objectives based upon a pre-defined criterion. A process mapping module associates the business objectives to the processes in the organization. The process mapping module maps the processes with the defined business objectives, determines unmapped processes, obtains modified processes based upon gaps within the unmapped processes, and links the mapped and modified processes to a number of functions in the organization. Further, a display module displays linkages of the mapped processes and the modified processes to the business objectives and the functions to enable a user in tracing the mapped processes and the modified processes to the defined business objectives and the functions.

  • Publication number: 20140350998
Abstract: Project risk patterns modeling and risk mitigation. The method includes obtaining potential risk factors associated with a project. Further, at least one interacting potential risk factor influencing at least another potential risk factor may be ascertained. The ascertaining is performed based on interaction indicators. The interaction indicators are indicative of an interaction between the at least one interacting potential risk factor and the at least another potential risk factor. Further, a risk emergence pattern is identified based on the interaction between the at least one interacting potential risk factor and the at least another potential risk factor. The risk emergence pattern is indicative of a recurrent interaction between the at least one interacting potential risk factor and the at least another potential risk factor.
