  • Patent number: 10484465
Abstract: The processing of data packets sent over a communication session between a host and a server by a service gateway includes processing a data packet using a current hybrid-stateful or hybrid-stateless processing method. The processing then checks whether a hybrid-stateless or hybrid-stateful condition is satisfied. When one of the sets of conditions is satisfied, the process includes changing from a hybrid-stateful to a hybrid-stateless processing method, or vice versa, for a subsequently received data packet. If the conditions are not satisfied, the process continues as originally structured.

  • Patent number: 10447775
Abstract: Provided are methods and systems for balancing servers based on a server load status. A method for balancing servers based on a server load status may commence with receiving, from a server of a plurality of servers, a service response to a service request. The service response may include a computing load of the server. The method may continue with receiving a next service request from a host. The method may further include determining, based on the computing load of the server, whether the server is available to process the next service request. The method may include selectively sending the next service request to the server based on the determination that the server is available to process the next service request.

  • Publication number: 20180363410
Abstract: Downhole plugs having single anchoring mechanisms and methods thereof are disclosed. The plug comprises of inner mandrel with proximal portion and distal portion, outer assembly and one or more retaining members. The outer assembly comprises of support element, elastomeric element for sealing the gap between the plug and casing, anchoring mechanism at the distal portion for anchoring the plug to the casing and nose element. The elastomeric element is retained in a compressed state at the downhole end by the anchoring mechanism and at the up hole end by the retaining members. In some embodiments, the retaining members are snap rings that are pushed down from step portions at the proximal portion when the plug is mobilized to a set position thereby retaining the elastomeric element. In some embodiments, the retaining members are ratcheted open rings that ratchet over the proximal portion thus retaining the elastomeric element.

  • Patent number: 9438217
Abstract: A system and method of clocking an integrated circuit (IC) includes determining operating characteristics of the IC. The IC has multiple domains and each domain receives a respective domain clock signal. A skew value is determined for each of the domain clock signals, where each skew value is associated with a respective domain of the IC. The domain clock signals are generated from a reference clock signal and each domain clock signal is skewed from the reference clock according to the respective skew value.

  • Patent number: 8897154
Abstract: Exemplary embodiments for processing, by a service gateway, data packets sent over a communication session between a host and a server are disclosed. The service gateway processes data packets using a hybrid-stateful or hybrid-stateless processing method, depending on whether a hybrid-stateless or hybrid-stateful condition is satisfied. When the condition is satisfied, the service gateway allows for the changing from a hybrid-stateful to a hybrid-stateless processing method, or vice versa, for a subsequently received data packet. Otherwise, the service gateway continues processing the subsequently received data packets using the current hybrid processing method.

  • Patent number: 8898612
Abstract: An electronic design automation (EDA) tool for inserting dummy tiles between interconnect lines of an integrated circuit design includes a memory for storing the integrated circuit design and a processor in communication with the memory. The processor identifies those interconnect lines that are at different voltage levels, have a length greater than a predefined threshold length and a spacing less than a predefined threshold spacing, and inserts blockage areas between such interconnect lines. The processor skips the blockage areas and adds dummy tiles only between those interconnect lines that do not meet predetermined criteria.

  • Patent number: 8843873
Abstract: A method of estimating capacitive cell load of cells in an integrated circuit (IC) design uses first maximum capacitive load values CMAX—LIB in calculating risk of electromigration failure in cells of the IC design. CMAX—LIB is saved for a cell whose risk of electromigration failure is acceptable. For a failed cell, a revised maximum capacitive load value CMAX—2 is reduced as the ratio of an actual current IACTUAL—1 relative to the electromigration current limit ILIMIT in the weakest element of the cell. A revised actual current IACTUAL—2 is obtained as a function of transition times with CMAX—2. CMAX—2 is saved for the cell if IACTUAL—2 is less than ILIMIT. Otherwise the steps of calculating CMAX—2 and IACTUAL—2 are re-iterated. CMAX—2 is reduced relative to CMAX—LIB for the first iteration and is further reduced relative to its previous value CMAX—2 for subsequent iterations.
