A server receives a frame for a given timeslot from each of a first plurality of access terminals participating in the group communication session, each of the received frames having an associated data rate. The server selects at least one and less than all of the received frames based at least in part on the associated data rates of each of the received frames. The server sends the selected at least one frame to a second plurality of access terminals participating in the group communication session.

    Abstract: A composition of matter comprising a synergistic formulation of plant extracts for hepatic and adrenal disorders is provided. In an implementation, an example extraction method for concentrating pharmacologically active fractions of plants provides a synergistically active compound containing approximately 5%-25% extract of Andrographis paniculata, approximately 10%-30% extract of Boerhavia diffusa, approximately 25%-50% extract of Phyllanthus niruri, and approximately 15%-40% extract of Tephrosia purpurea. The synergistically active compound provides greater therapeutic benefit than the individual ingredients alone, or the combined ingredients in different concentration ranges. The synergistic formulation may also be used for treatment of other medical conditions.

    Abstract: A system and method for minimizing call setup latency in a group communication among wireless communication devices by ensuring the requisite amount of communication bandwidth for group member devices that utilize separate communication systems to control communication channels established with each of the wireless communication devices. A group communication server that sets up group communications for wireless communication device members of a communication group communicates with a resource manager resident on a communication system to reserve a predetermined amount of resources, such as bandwidth, for wireless communication devices utilizing that communication system that are members of a communication group. The resource manager communicates the availability to the group communication server of the wireless communication devices utilizing that communication system for group communications only if the predetermined resources are available for a group communication to the wireless communication device.
