  • Publication number: 20250045408
Abstract: Disclosed is a system and associated methods for cryptographically verifying a user of a computing device at the bootloader level and before the loading of an operating system (OS). The cryptographic verification involves loading a boot authentication controller into a memory of the computing device upon powering on the computing device. The boot authentication controller restricts access to the computing device by preventing an OS from being loaded into the memory during the boot process. The boot authentication controller determines a level-of-access that a particular user has on the computing device from a received encoded value, customizes the OS with the level-of-access specified in the encoded value, and boots the computing system with a customized OS that provides the level-of-access.

  • Patent number: 12216648
Abstract: A method includes receiving instructions to perform order-dependent DataFrame operation on data. In response to receiving the instructions, the framework analyzes the instructions to identify the order-dependent DataFrame operation, and generates an executable query corresponding to the identified order-dependent DataFrame operation. The framework executes the generated executable query on the data stored in the first database in the cloud data platform, creates a row position column that generates for each row a unique integer identifier, reproducible across multiple sessions and/or queries for the same underlying data to make the data accessible via positional indexing, and assigns each row of the first database a unique row index value based on the row position column and the row position column order.

  • Publication number: 20240403570
Abstract: A trained one-dimensional convolutional neural network (1D CNN) efficiently detects credentials that allow access to sensitive data across an organization. The 1D CNN has a lightweight architecture with one or more one-dimensional convolutional layers that capture semantic context of text data and a one-hot encoding embedding layer that takes unprocessed characters from documents as input. Lightweight architecture of the 1D CNN allows for high volume, fast detection of credentials for data loss prevention. The 1D CNN is trained on documents augmented with natural language processing techniques including token replacement, machine translation, token rearrangement, and text summarization.

  • Publication number: 20240331815
Abstract: A named-entity recognition (NER) model detects named entities with types that correspond to protected health information (PHI) in potentially sensitive documents. The NER model is trained to detect named entities corresponding to both personally identifiable information (PII) and medical terms. Output of the NER model is preprocessed as input to a random forest classifier that outputs a verdict that documents comprise sensitive data. The verdict is interpretable via high confidence named entities detected by the NER model that led to the verdict.
