  • Publication number: 20240259665
Abstract: A vehicular vision system includes a camera disposed at an underside of a vehicle. The camera is movable between (i) a deployed position, where the camera is at least partially exposed at the underside of the vehicle and views a region between the ground under the vehicle and at least a portion of the underside of the vehicle, and (ii) a stowed position, where the camera is moved from the deployed position toward the underside of the vehicle to reduce exposure of the camera. A deployment mechanism is electrically operable to move the camera between the deployed position and the stowed position. The vehicular vision system, based on processing of image data captured by the camera when in the deployed position, determines presence of an object at the region viewed by the camera and operates the deployment mechanism to move the camera to the stowed position.

  • Publication number: 20240116332
Abstract: A vehicular climate control system includes an airflow source operable to provide airflow within an interior cabin of a vehicle. An electronic control unit module (ECU module) is disposed at the vehicle and includes a heat-generating electronic component that, when the ECU module is electrically operated, generates heat at the ECU module. When the ECU module is electrically operated and the heat-generating electronic component of the ECU module generates heat at the ECU module and when the vehicular climate control system operates the airflow source to provide the airflow within the interior cabin of the vehicle, heat generated at the ECU module is dissipated from the ECU module and heats the airflow provided within the interior cabin of the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20240116381
Abstract: A vehicular power generation system includes a power generating device disposed at a vehicle. The power generating device generates electricity responsive to manual operation of an input component of the power generating device by an occupant within an interior cabin of the vehicle. Responsive to the occupant manually operating the input component of the power generating device, the vehicular power generation system outputs electricity generated by the power generating device to electrically charge a battery of the vehicle or electrically power an electrical device within the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20240070756
Abstract: A vehicular communication system includes an electronic control unit (ECU) at a vehicle. When the vehicle is within a threshold distance of a venue, the vehicular communication system is in wireless communication with a communication device at the venue. The communication device wirelessly communicates information to the vehicle. The communicated information includes information related to at least one of a product or service provided at the venue. Based at least in part on processing at the ECU of the communicated information, a customer order from an occupant of the vehicle is wirelessly transmitted from the vehicle to the communication device at the venue.

  • Publication number: 20240001950
Abstract: A vehicular control system includes a sensor disposed at a vehicle and sensing exterior and at least forward of the vehicle. The vehicular control system is operable in a student driver mode. The vehicular control system, responsive to processing the sensor data, determines when the vehicle is undertaking a parking maneuver. The vehicular control system, responsive to determining that the vehicle is undertaking a parking maneuver and when the vehicular control system is operating in the student driver mode, determines when an acceleration of the vehicle is unintentional. The vehicular control system, responsive to determining that the acceleration of the vehicle is unintentional, limits acceleration of the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20230415647
Abstract: A vehicular driving assist system includes a plurality of cameras and a plurality of sensors disposed at a vehicle. The plurality of sensors includes at least one selected from the group consisting of a plurality of radar sensors and a plurality of lidar sensors. Electronic circuitry of an electronic control unit includes an image processor for processing image data captured by the cameras and a processor for processing sensor data captured by the sensors. The system, while the vehicle is travelling in a forward direction and responsive to processing of image data captured by the cameras and sensor data captured by the sensors, is operable to determine presence of an object approaching a path of travel of the vehicle. The system, responsive to determining presence of the object approaching the path of travel of the vehicle, communicates an alert to a driver of the vehicle.
