  • Publication number: 20190018029
Abstract: An automatic analyzer provided with a probe provided with an opening end for discharging a dispensing liquid, a pump connected to a side opposite to the opening end of the probe, and a dispensing mechanism provided with a drive control unit which controls drive of the pump, in which the drive control unit controls the drive of the pump to realize a discharging speed at which a droplet of the dispensing liquid is formed at the opening end of the probe at an initial stage of discharge drive and a discharging speed at which a liquid column of the dispensing liquid is formed at the opening end of the probe at a later stage of the discharge drive at the time of the discharge drive of the pump to discharge a predetermined amount of dispensing liquid into a dispensing container from the opening end of the probe.

  • Patent number: 5843376
Abstract: A reaction apparatus is provided which is suitable for automatic immunoassay equipment and is capable of conducting treatments in reaction vessels for different reaction conditions such as reaction time and treatment method like a one-step method and a two-step method. The apparatus comprises a conveying mechanism for conveying vessels containing a objective measurement substance around a rotation center. The conveying mechanism comprises a fixed disk 1 for guiding the vessels 5 along a spiral lane 2, and a rotation disk 3 for guiding the vessels 5 along radial lanes. The vessels 5 are inserted at intersection points of the spiral lane and the radial lanes, and are conveyed with the rotation of the radial lanes along the spiral lane. The mechanism is constituted such that the vessels 5 for long-time treatment and the vessels for short-time treatment are inserted to the same insertion position and the vessels 5 for short-time treatment is taken out from an intermediate way of the conveying route.

  • Patent number: 5507193
Abstract: A pipette device capable of solving such problems as that a nozzle tip cannot be attached thereto because the device is too small in size or that an accurate drawing-in and ejection of liquids cannot be performed because a sufficient seal cannot be achieved between a shaft body lower end portion and a nozzle tip. The pipette device includes: a hollow shaft body having a lower end portion capable of being fitted into an upper end opening of a nozzle tip having the shape of an inverted cone and connected at the interior thereof to an air supply/ejection device for the drawing-in and ejection of liquids; a slide block for holding the shaft body in a manner movable up and down and rotatable about the axis thereof; a support for holding the slide block movable in an up and down direction; and a driver unit for moving the slide block up and down with respect to the support. A helical groove is formed on a part of the periphery of the upper end portion of the shaft body.
