  • Publication number: 20200337314
Abstract: A microbial-based composition provides a co-cultured microorganism consortium in culture medium that includes one or more Acetobacter sp., Bacillus sp., Bifidobacterium sp., Enter ococus sp., Gluconacetobacter sp., Lactobacillus sp., Rhodopseudomonas sp., Saccharomyces sp., Pichia sp., and Trichoderma sp., as well as a carbon source and chlorine-free water. In some embodiments, the microbial-based composition is useful in the agricultural industry as a plant growth promoting and silage-enhancing agent. For plant growth promotion applications, the microbial-based composition may be applied to the foliar surface of a plant or to the plant growth medium, such as soil or hydroponic solution, surrounding the plant. In silage operations, the microbial-based composition may be applied to a cut plant product during one or more stages in the silage process.

  • Patent number: 10676697
Abstract: The present invention relates to a biodegradable detergent composition, which can contain viable cells or enzymes and acts as a replacement for the chemical detergents. The biodegradable detergent composition, comprising of: bio surfactant; polyols; biopolymer; organic acid; small chain peptide; essential oil; and stabilizers. The biodegradable detergent composition has a pH value of less than about 3.60, Titratable Acidity % between about 9.0-12.0, HLB value between about 14 to about 16.5, E24 value between about 73 and about 79. The biodegradable detergent composition has MALDI-TOF MS spectra in the m/z range from about 513.1 to about 2847.7 with peak mass value range from about 1375.8 m/z to about 2009.2 m/z. Further, the present invention relates to a method of manufacturing the biodegradable detergent composition.

  • Publication number: 20200024674
Abstract: Use of probiotic technology to support tanners to reduce waste and increase the value of by-products reducing the need of synthetic chemicals, improving the quality of effluents and reducing the carbon footprint to the environment. Probiotics or beneficial microorganisms are used to obtain biochemicals through a controlled fermentation of natural ingredients. The result of the process is a consortium of metabolites including viable probiotic microorganisms with properties very similar to traditional leather auxiliaries extensively needed during leather production, eliminating or reducing the need for use of toxic chemicals and compositions.

  • Publication number: 20190161815
Abstract: The present invention describes a fully bio-degradable probiotic composition and its method of use as leather tanning auxiliary to offer a green technology to reduce waste and increase the value of by-products reducing the need of synthetic chemicals and improving the quality of effluents. Probiotics or beneficial microorganisms are used to obtain biochemicals through a controlled fermentation of natural ingredients. The result of the process is a consortium of metabolites used in conjunction with probiotic bacteria wherein product has properties very similar to traditional leather auxiliaries extensively used during the leather making process, such as wetting, dispersing, degreasing and solubilizing agents. Therefore, they have clear applications not only in the beam house operations, but also in wet-end and finishing.
