Abstract: A system and method for printing a multimedia document including a multimedia content in the form of video, animation or graphics. While printing a multimedia document including a video file, instead of printing the default poster view, a set of frames extracted from the video file is printed. In one embodiment of the invention, the frames are extracted from the video file using a frame extraction algorithm and temporary layout of the set of frames is created for printing. User can configure to print the set of frames in the same area of the video file in the multimedia document, or can configure to print them in a separate page.

Further, the method includes responsive to the text request, retrieving the text-based description associated with the portion of digital content from a data store, the retrieving using the identifier value to identify the text-based description. Additionally, the method includes communicating the text-based description to a user.

Abstract: Various embodiments described herein each include one or more of systems, methods, data structures, and software to replicate a document or workflow workspace, including comments and other data added by document or workflow participants. Some embodiments allow participants to create, view, and manipulate public comments and other actions and private comments and other actions addressed specifically to individual participants, but prevent participants from viewing comments addressed only to one or more other participants. In some embodiments, the document may be distributed to participants via whatever means are convenient. The document may contain knowledge of a comment repository holding comments or other workflow data. Some embodiments include downloading comments and other data from a repository, identifying which comments and other data is intended for display to a viewing participant, and displaying the identified comments and other data.

Abstract: Printing non-visible, overflowing text is described, including detecting text boxes with visible and non-visible content, the text boxes being disposed in a file, retrieving the visible and non-visible content from at least one of the text boxes, and generating a printout of the file, the printout having the file and the visible and non-visible content of at least one of the text boxes.

Abstract: A method to enforce collaboration rules, in one example embodiment, comprises receiving a request to report a collaboration event to a collaboration workflow, receiving a reported time of the collaboration event, determining an origin of the reported time, updating the reported time with a central time service time when the origin of the reported time is not a central time service, and based on the updated reported time, selectively reporting the collaboration event into the collaboration workflow.
