Abstract: Various embodiments of the invention provide human structural and cytoskeleton-associated proteins (SCAP) and polynucleotides which identify and encode SCAP. Embodiments of te invention also provide expression vectors, host cells, anti-bodies, agonists, and antagonists. Other embodiments provide methods for diagnosing, treating, or preventing discorders associated with aberrant expression of SCAP.
