Abstract: A nursery bed for transplantation formed in a connected-type pot for raising seedlings, including a medium layer made of medium base materials, a granular fertilizer layer placed on the medium layer and made of granular fertilizers, and seeds or plant bodies, in which the granular fertilizers contain a slow release nitrogen fertilizer and include approximately 70 mass percent or more granules having a granule size of approximately I mm or more with a maximum granule size of the fertilizers of approximately 2 mm or less, and a method of cultivating a plant using the nursery bed.

Abstract: A method for producing a coated bioactive granule comprising a core granule containing a bioactive substance and a coating film covering the surface of the core, characterized by comprising a step of reducing the concentration of a volatile matters contained in the bioactive substance; and a method for producing the coated bioactive granule wherein the production conditions are controlled in a manner such that physical properties and/or functions of a coated bioactive granule produced (hereinafter referred to as “product data”) meet specifications of physical properties and/or functions of the coated bioactive granule (hereinafter referred to as “product specifications”), based on deviations between product data and product specifications, characterized in that it comprises a step of reducing the concentration of a volatile matters contained in the bioactive substance.

A surfactant, inorganic powder insoluble or hardly soluble in water, water-absorbing and/or water-soluble polymer fine powder, a thermosetting resin, or a biodegradable polymer insoluble or hardly soluble in water, or a combination thereof may be incorporated into the film.
