Abstract: A perioperative monitoring system which includes a selection module configured to receive operational requirements, a database of conditions, a condition module responsive to the selection module and in communication with the database of conditions. The condition module is configured to select conditions from the database based on the received operational requirements. At least one validation system receives the selected conditions from the condition module and determines a validation. The one validation system includes a filter that filters selected conditions based on a functional selection in order to provide a functional configuration.
