Abstract: The invention relates to a method of diagnosis or prognosis of an obliterative arteriopathy in a subject, comprising determining the expression level of adenosine A2A receptors expressed at the cell surface of peripheral blood mononuclear cells obtained from said subject. The invention also relates to an agonist-like monoclonal antibody directed to the human adenosine A2A receptor, useful for carrying out this method.
