  • Publication number: 20190376720
Abstract: A damper assembly is configured for deployment in a forced air duct that supplies conditioned air through a register boot to a register vent secured relative to the register boot. The damper assembly includes a damper unit and a deployment strap. The deployment strap includes a first end secured relative to the damper unit and an opposing second end and has a length that is sufficient to position the damper unit in the forced air duct when the second end of the deployment strap is secured relative to the register boot. When in a deployment configuration, the damper unit has a reduced profile to facilitate deliver of the damper unit through the register boot and into the forced air duct. When in an operational configuration, the damper unit is configured to operate a damper blade between a closed position and an open position.

  • Patent number: 10145487
Abstract: An HVAC device includes a housing and a conduit tube that defines a lumen into the housing. The conduit tube and/or housing are configured such that rotating the conduit tube relative to the housing changes the direction that an outlet of the conduit tube faces. • Patent number: 9697021
Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes compiling one or more segments of code during run-time of a process executing at one or more processors of a computer system. The compilation produces a high-level intermediate representation of the one or more segments of the code. The high-level intermediate representation is modifiable by the process, without executing the high-level intermediate representation, to generate a modified high-level intermediate representation that is executable by the process.

  • Patent number: 9553430
Abstract: A flexible conduit fitting system includes a housing that defines at least part of a flexible conduit fitting, and a resilient clip supported by the housing. The flexible conduit fitting may include an aperture for receiving an end of a flexible wiring conduit. The resilient clip may have an engagement portion that extends into the aperture of the flexible conduit fitting to engage the generally corrugated outer structure of the flexible wiring conduit. The housing may be configured to support the resilient clip in a manner that allows the resilient clip to flex in a direction of movement of the flexible wiring conduit when the flexible wiring conduit is being inserted into the aperture and past the engagement portion, but to not substantially flex in the direction of movement of the flexible wiring conduit when attempting to withdraw the flexible wiring conduit from the aperture.

  • Patent number: 9221160
Abstract: A system and method for guiding a motor into alignment with a transmission during assembly. The system may allow the motor to be placed into engagement with a motor mount in a first position, wherein in the first position, the position of the motor is constrained by guide structures such that the gear teeth of the drive gear and the gear teeth of a driven gear are not fully intermeshed, and a rotation axis of the drive gear is not parallel to a rotation axis of the driven gear. The motor may then be manipulated in the motor mount while constrained by the guide structures along a motion path until the gear teeth of the drive gear and the gear teeth of the driven gear are more fully intermeshed, and the rotation axis of the drive gear is substantially parallel to the rotation axis of the driven gear.

  • Patent number: 9052913
Abstract: A method includes, during compilation of a portion of source code at a compiler, initiating token resolution with respect to a token included in the portion of source code. A static context and a dynamic context of the compiler are queried to identify one or more lookup results of the token. A particular lookup result is selected to resolve the token based on one or more semantic rules of the compiler. The particular lookup result is selected independently of whether the particular lookup result is sourced from the static context or from the dynamic context. The method includes resolving the token based on the selected particular lookup result.
