  • Publication number: 20240125927
Abstract: Systems and methods for network-based ultrasound imaging are provided, which can include a number of features. In some embodiments, an ultrasound imaging system images an object with three-dimensional unfocused pings and obtains digital sample sets from a plurality of receiver elements. A sub-set of the digital sample sets can be electronically transferred to a remote server, where the sub-set can be beamformed to produce a series of two-dimensional image frames. A video stream made up of the series of two-dimensional images frames can then be transferred from the remote server to a display device.

  • Patent number: 11913370
Abstract: A valve assembly failsafe configured to be coupled to an actuator of a coolant control regulator assembly is provided. The valve assembly failsafe includes a wind arm, a spring that engages the wind arm under spring tension, a latch that engages the wind arm, a drive gear that engages the wind arm and the actuator, and a driver that engages the latch. The valve assembly failsafe is configured to be positioned in a set state where the latch engages and retains the wind arm under spring tension and the drive gear freely rotates during rotation of the actuator, and a tripped state where the driver rotates the latch to disengage the latch from the wind arm, causing the wind arm to rotate under the spring tension to engage the drive gear and cause the drive gear to drive the actuator to a default position.

  • Patent number: 11873240
Abstract: Methods and systems for reducing an average particle size of blackwater solids is disclosed. A vessel is configured to receive a blackwater stream through a one-way inlet. The one-way inlet is configured to allow the blackwater stream into the vessel and prevent backflow. The blackwater stream contains blackwater solids and water. A device in a bottom portion of the vessel is configured to receive the blackwater and comminute the blackwater solids. A recirculating pump is configured to recirculate the blackwater stream under pressure through the device until the average particle size of the blackwater solids is reduced below a size threshold, resulting in a sized blackwater stream.

  • Patent number: 11584660
Abstract: Systems and methods for disposing of blackwater are disclosed. A first vessel contains a screw running through the vessel from a first end to a second end. The screw is surrounded radially by a filter. The first vessel has a blackwater inlet adjacent the first end. An extrusion plate is adjacent the second end of the first vessel. A combustor vessel is configured to receive a solids component from the extrusion plate. A blackwater stream, consisting of a liquid component and the solids component, is passed through the blackwater inlet into the first vessel, is conveyed by the screw from the first end to the second end, and is pressurized against the extrusion plate. The liquid component is thereby forced from the blackwater stream through the filter and the solids component is forced through the extrusion plate into the combustor. The combustor is configured to combust the solids component.

  • Publication number: 20220324684
Abstract: A winch drum is disclosed. In a first aspect, a first set of teeth are positioned around an outer perimeter of a drum. The first set of teeth taper from a first crown to a first base. A second set of teeth are positioned around the outer perimeter of the drum. The second set of teeth taper from a second crown to a second base. The second set of teeth are offset from the first set of teeth such that a gap between the first bases and the second bases forms a sinusoidal channel for a line to follow the first set of teeth and the second set of teeth becomes a guide for the line so that the line can engage the sinusoidal channel. The line follows the sinusoidal channel and each change of direction along the sinusoidal path causes the line to engage by friction with the first bases and the second bases. In a second aspect, the drum includes a trough that follows a sinusoidal path and wherein the trough is narrower at its bottom than at its top.

  • Publication number: 20220090865
Abstract: Methods and devices are disclosed for reacting and separating components. An elongated vessel has a microchannel heat pipe with a hollow space inside the microchannel heat pipe being surrounded by inner walls. A feed stream and a reactant stream are passed into the hollow space, the reactant reacting, resulting in a product stream. A first end of the microchannel heat pipe is heated and an opposite end of the microchannel heat pipe is cooled, producing a gas phase and a liquid phase in reflux. The liquid phase attaches to the inner walls via capillary forces and the vapor phase makes up the balance of the hollow space. The reflux separates components in the product stream, a first portion passing out of a first end of the heat pipe as a liquid stream and a second portion passing out of a second end of the heat pipe as a vapor stream.
