  • Patent number: 11159074
Abstract: Embodiments of cooling a motor controlling using a motor are disclosed. In some embodiments, a system includes an electric motor including at least one rotor with integrated features positioned and configured to pull air into and through the electric motor. The system also includes at least one motor controller each comprising a heat sink positioned in an air intake path from a source of air to the electric motor. A method of manufacturing the system includes arranging at least one motor controller and at least one electric motor, coupling the at least one motor controller and at least one electric motor via a flexible duct, and adapting the arrangement of the at least one motor controller and the at least one electric motor to passively provide cooling via airflow through the at least one motor controller and at least one electric motor in proportion to a load on the at least one electric motor.

  • Publication number: 20210256576
Abstract: This disclosure describes a geotemporal destination system that filters and identifies transportation requests based on a directional filter and/or an arrival time filter. In particular, the disclosed systems can determine a threshold deviation angle for a directional filter based on a provider device location, a target destination, and a time of day. In addition, the disclosed systems can utilize an arrival time filter to identify transportation requests. For example, the disclosed systems can surface transportation requests to provide to a provider device based on applying a directional filter and/or an arrival time filter.

  • Publication number: 20180132676
Abstract: A product dispenser for the dispensing of a product which will show active visual content to proximate viewers. A visual display module is attached to a user-facing surface of the dispenser cover of a product dispenser, to display active visual content to viewers. The active visual content displayed on the active media surface of the dispenser cover could take many forms including changing electronic displays or a translucent surface which can be optionally illuminated or emphasized based on a controller and power source. The product dispenser can be supplied with the visual display module in place on the dispenser cover, or an OEM product dispenser with an insert blank in place on the dispenser cover could also be sold into which the visual display module could be later installed. A media-ready dispenser cover which could be used to retrofit an existing product dispenser with the ability to receive a visual display module is also disclosed.
