The method may include the steps of providing a continuous web of material, placing a discrete part onto the web of material, determining the location of the discrete part on the web of material, phasing a subsequent process in relation to the location of the discrete part and performing the subsequent process in such a way so as to preserve a minimum distance from the discrete part.
