The golf club head also includes a face portion including a striking face with a maximum height from the ground plane of at least about 50 mm. A volume of the golf club head is at least about 370 cm3. The golf club head has a total club head mass between 190 grams and 210 grams, and the mass of the club head located above half of the peak crown height is less than or equal to 77 grams, and the percentage of the mass above half of the peak crown height is less than or equal to 39% of the total mass of the golf club head.

    Abstract: A linear dovetail neck joint for a musical instrument having a neck, a body, and a fretboard. The linear dovetail neck joint relies on an internal dovetail with screw-adjustable tension while avoiding screws that go directly into the neck. The linear dovetail neck joint allows for extreme fret accessibility in the upper register of the fretboard (due to lack of heel on the neck), easier neck height adjustments, intonation correction, and unique front block configurations with hand relief—all without the need for adhesives. The linear dovetail neck joint permits a practical and aesthetically pleasing neck-to-body joint without the need for a heel on the neck. The result is a neck-to-body joint that is easily adjustable and serviceable.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for a shield to protect a surface from the impact of hyper-velocity projectiles. The apparatus comprises a foam material that is configured to cover the surface to be protected and is attached directly to that surface. A coating material is typically disposed on the outer surface of the foam material and may penetrate the foam material to a predetermined depth. The foam material and the coating material are selected to form a composite having predetermined values of sonic velocity, toughness, and thermal conductivity. The composite of foam material and coating material can be significantly lighter in weight than a metal shield having equivalent protective characteristics.
