  • Publication number: 20240164946
Abstract: A medical system includes a head having an end arranged to face a reference plane and a multistage slide mechanism coupled with the head. The multistage slide mechanism includes a coarse-float mechanism configured to enable movement of the head relative to the reference plane, and a fine-float mechanism configured to limit a force applied through the head to an initial force, and to reduce the force applied through the head to a reduced force less than the initial force in response to a presence of a first triggering event. The first triggering event may correspond to a valid coupling between a cone attachment of the head and a patient interface coupled to an anatomical site at the reference plane.

  • Publication number: 20240167524
Abstract: A medical system includes a head having an end arranged to face a reference plane and a multistage slide mechanism coupled with the head. The multistage slide mechanism includes a coarse-float mechanism configured to enable movement of the head relative to the reference plane, and to prevent movement of the head toward the reference plane while allowing movement of the head away from the reference plane. A one-way brake associated with the coarse-float mechanism is configured to transition between a locked state and an unlocked state in response to a presence of or an absence of a first triggering event. In the locked state, the one-way brake prevents movement of the head toward the reference plane and simultaneously allows movement of the head away from the reference plane. In the unlocked state, the one-way brake allows movement of the head toward the reference plane and movement of the head away from the reference plane.

  • Publication number: 20240164862
Abstract: A delivery arm assembly of a medical system includes a head having an end arranged to face a reference plane and a multistage slide mechanism coupled to the head. The multistage slide mechanism includes a long-range slide mechanism configured to move the head in a direction toward the reference plane and a short-range slide mechanism coupled with the long-range slide mechanism. The short-range slide mechanism is configured to stop further movement of the head in the direction toward the reference plane in response to a resistive force against movement of the head toward the reference plane.

  • Publication number: 20240163227
Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a database being maintained that has information indicating states of network resources, which can be determined based on physical activities, logical activities and hybrid activities performed on or by the network resources; obtaining activity information for a particular network resource, where the activity information is a physical activity, a logical activity and/or a hybrid activity; and determining whether a state change for the particular network resource should be made such as to whether the activity information corresponds to and warrants change to at least one of an inventory state, an operational state, or a detailed state. Other embodiments are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11983370
Abstract: A two dimensional touch sensor panel can be thermoformed or curved by another process to a three-dimensional touch sensor panel, and the three-dimensional touch sensor panel can be laminated to a three-dimension surface having a highly curved or spherical shape. In some examples, thermoforming a two-dimensional touch sensor panel into a three-dimensional touch sensor panel can result in strain of the touch electrodes, and can result in non-uniform three-dimensional touch electrodes (distortion of the two-dimensional touch electrode pattern). The strain can be a function of the curved touch-sensitive surface and/or process related mechanical strain from thermoforming. In some examples, a three-dimensional touch sensor panel can be formed with uniform area touch electrodes using a two-dimensional touch sensor panel pattern with non-uniform area touch electrodes in accordance with the strain pattern expected for a given curved surface and thermoforming technique.

  • Publication number: 20240130830
Abstract: Portable surgical systems for regulating intra-operative environments over surgical sites are disclosed. The surgical systems include a flexible surgical enclosure configured to be attached to the surgical site of a patient. The enclosure enables operators to perform surgery on the surgical site from inside the enclosure. The enclosure may further include a patient-limb-port configured to enable the patient to insert an arm or a leg into the enclosure so that a limb-surgical-site is disposed inside the enclosure. The surgical system may further include an active environment control unit with one or multiple sensors. The surgical system prevents outer environment contaminants from reaching the surgical site while providing a barrier protecting operators from exposure to blood generated during the surgery. The portable surgical system is used to perform surgery in environments other than operating rooms, such as outdoors, in tents, in cottages, and non-sterile rooms.

  • Publication number: 20240118538
Abstract: An electronic device may have optical components that each have first and second transparent layers such as first and second glass layers. The glass layers may have outer surfaces that face away from each other and inner surfaces that face towards each other. A polymer layer is formed between the inner surfaces of the glass layers. Along the periphery of each optical component, a hermetic seal is formed to protect the polymer material of the polymer layer. The seal may include one or more metal layers that are coupled to the first and second glass layers. Alternatively or additionally, the seal may include an internal seal, such as a metal foil layer that extends between the first and second glass layers, within the optical component to reduce the width of the optical component.

  • Publication number: 20140083876
Abstract: A protective case discloses an electronic device protective casing, comprising the main protective shell body and the universal decorative pattern layer, the said main protective shell body layer has a pattern opening corresponding to the pattern of the universal decorative pattern layer to snugly fit in, and the said decorative pattern layer disposed on the said protective shell body layer via fixed plate. And the said fixed plate area is greater than the said decorative pattern layer. Since the said universal decorative pattern layer and the said protective shell body are manufactured separately, the universal decorative plate will be able to use for different electronic devices, therefore it will reduce the cost to make such case in term of reproduction of molding, and thereby the cost of the electronic device protective case will be as well reduced.
