  • Patent number: 10731954
Abstract: Disclosed is a reactive target system including at least one target panel supported by a respective target positioning unit, and a shooter communications device. The target panel includes first and second electrically conductive layers positioned between first and second outer reinforcement layers, and separated by an electrically insulating layer. The first electrically conductive layer includes a plurality of electrically isolated target zones and a corresponding plurality of electrical connection sites. The second electrically conductive layer provides a common conductor zone and a corresponding electrical connection site. Each of the electrical connection sites are configured to be pierced by and electrically couple to a respective electrical contact element of an attachment mechanism on the target positioning unit.

    Assignee: Automated Target Solutions, Inc.
Inventors: Brian Auld, Steven Phillip Auld, Harvey Albert Shuhart, III, Nathan Lyman Walker
  • Patent number: 10032159
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for delegating spending from a user device, such as a parent's smart telephone, to another device, such as a child's smart telephone. In this manner, the owner of the other device, e.g., the child, can be allowed to purchase products. Restrictions can be placed upon the spending ability of the other device. For example, in order for the spending to be done, the other device can be required to be within a certain distance of the user device. Thus, purchases by the owner of the other device, e.g., the child, can be supervised.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: July 24, 2018
    Assignee: PAYPAL, INC.
Inventors: Nathan Lyman, Roy Leon Camp
  • Patent number: 9633549
Abstract: According to an embodiment, methods and systems can provide emergency auto-notification. Thus, in the event of an emergency, such as a predefined emergency, one or more people can be notified of a user's condition, needs, environment, and location, for example. The people to be notified can be predetermined, such as during a set up procedure. The people to be notified can be notified by text messaging, email, vice, voice mail, or any other method. The notification can be triggered by any desired criteria. For example, the notification can be triggered by the user's condition, location, or environment.
