Abstract: A sunless spray tanning device includes at least one peristaltic pump coupled to a spray gun. A liquid reservoir for housing a sunless tanning composition may be coupled to the inlet of the peristaltic pump. The composition is forced via the peristaltic pump to a spray nozzle located on the spray gun for application onto the skin of a customer. The spray gun includes a high volume, low pressure (HVLP) spray gun in some embodiments. A solenoid valve is disposed between the peristaltic pump and the spray gun in some embodiments. The spray gun may be mounted on a tanning booth apparatus or alternatively may include a handheld spray gun device for manual spray applications in various embodiments.
