  • Patent number: 11821598
Abstract: A light masking system for a vehicle includes: a printed circuit board (PCB); at least one infrared (IR) light source disposed on a first surface of the PCB and configured to emit a first predetermined wavelength range of light; at least one masking light source disposed on the first surface of the PCB proximal to the IR light source and configured to emit a second predetermined wavelength range of light, wherein a portion of the emitted first predetermined wavelength range of light of the IR light source includes visible light; and the emitted second predetermined wavelength range of light of the at least one masking light source masks the emitted visible light from the first predetermined wavelength range of the at least one IR light source.

  • Publication number: 20190321548
Abstract: An improved catheter for the dispensing of pharmaceutical fluids, such as insulin, has a cannula with not only a conventional end opening, but also a plurality of micro perforations in the cannula wall, which prevent flow blockages of pharmaceutical fluids if the cannula becomes kinked near its open end. The perforations are located in a portion of the cannula wall that is intended to be installed beneath the patient's skin. Thus, if the end opening becomes blocked because of a kink in the cannula near the open end, the pharmaceutical fluid can still enter the patients blood stream through the micro perforations in the cannula wall. Perforations are preferably formed in a spiral pattern along a portion of the cannula to prevent diametrically opposed perforations that might compromise cannula wall strength.

  • Publication number: 20190061606
Abstract: Described herein are a rotatable reverse light, and a taillight. The rotatable reverse light includes a reverse light, a shaft connected to the reverse light and configured to rotate the reverse light, a motor connected to the shaft to rotate the reverse light about a longitudinal axis of the shaft to orient the reverse light to a desired position, and a reverse light controller. The controller is configured to receive a driving mode of a vehicle, in response to a parking mode of the vehicle, receive a rotation input related to the desired position, generate a rotation signal based on the rotation input, and transmit the rotation signal to the motor to orient, the reverse light to the desired position.

  • Patent number: 6719707
Abstract: An apparatus and method analyze a system using musical perception sound analysis. A transducer receives acoustic events generated by the system. An analysis module is coupled to the transducer and receives the acoustic events, monitors the system as a function of a set of musical perception parameters and responsively identifies a presence of a predetermined condition.
