  • Patent number: 11373452
Abstract: Embodiments of the present systems and methods may provide techniques for analyzing rodent gait that addresses the confound of interdependency of gait variables to provide more accurate and reproducible results. In embodiments, multidimensional analysis of gait in animals, such as rodents, may be performed. For example, in an embodiment, a computer-implemented method of animal gait analysis may comprise capturing data relating to steps taken a plurality of animal test subjects, performing a multidimensional analysis of the captured data to generate data describing a gait of the animal test subjects, and outputting data characterizing the gait of the animal test subjects.

  • Publication number: 20080034679
Abstract: A door assembly is disclosed for installation in a portable shelter with an arched vestibule. The door assembly comprises: an upper door support member, a lower door support member, a door in a frame secured to the upper and lower door support members, and a partition covering areas of an opening between the shelter and vestibule on each side of the door and above the upper door support member. The upper door support member is secured to a shelter frame below an arched horizontal member thereof across the opening between the shelter and the vestibule, and the lower door support member is secured to the shelter frame across the bottom of the opening. The door assembly may be supplied as a kit for retrofitting the portable shelter with the arched vestibule to include the door.

  • Patent number: 7281825
Abstract: A retractable dimmer sleeve comprises sleeve material formed into an elongated enclosed passage having an open end and an interior volume for receiving an elongated light source. The dimmer sleeve enables, during operation of a light source while received within the sleeve, adjustment of a length of a selected portion of the light source that is occluded by the dimmer sleeve so that only a fraction of light emitted by the light source escapes the dimmer sleeve. The apparatus may further comprise an elongated light source at least partially enclosed by the dimmer sleeve. A method comprises: enclosing at least a portion of the light source with the retractable dimmer sleeve; and moving, during operation of the light source while received within the sleeve, an end of the dimmer sleeve along the light source, thereby adjusting a length of the light source that is occluded by the dimmer sleeve.
