  • Publication number: 20250131279
Abstract: Systems, storage mediums comprising instructions, and methods of training a neural network to determine solutions to an optimization problem are provided. The methods involve obtaining training data representing a plurality of instances of an optimization problem, each instance being represented by a set of state parameters. For each instance of the optimization problem, a plurality of solutions are generated, each solution being generated using a neural network conditioned on an N-dimensional vector. Training the neural network conditioned on an N-dimensional vector associated with the highest performing solution is performed. Systems, storage mediums, and methods of using an neural network trained to be conditioned on an N-dimensional vector are also provided. These methods involve a search process for identifying an N-dimensional vector selected from a vector latent space to obtain a solution for the instance of the optimization problem.

  • Patent number: 12090987
Abstract: A system for controlling a ground speed of an agricultural sprayer includes a speed setting device for commanding a selected ground speed of the sprayer when operating within a speed-range mode associated with a ground speed range. The speed setting device is movable across a plurality of positions, with each position being associated with a different ground speed within the ground speed range. A maximum range speed of the ground speed range is lower than a maximum ground speed of the sprayer. As such, the system includes a speed override input device for commanding that the ground speed of the sprayer be increased to the maximum ground speed. When an override input is received from the speed override input device, the computing system controls the operation of a sprayer drive system to increase the ground speed of the sprayer from the selected ground speed to the maximum ground speed.

  • Patent number: 12054148
Abstract: A cruise control interlock system detects a current set of conditions for a vehicle, compares the current conditions with cruise control interlock conditions (e.g., an adjustable threshold state of a windshield wiper system), and executes a process to deactivate the cruise control system. The process to deactivate functionality of the cruise control system may include presenting a notification to the operator to alert the operator to an upcoming automatic deactivation or to encourage the operator to deactivate cruise control. The process also may include a vehicle de-rate process (e.g., reducing vehicle speed) to induce the operator to deactivate cruise control. Deactivation of cruise control may be postponed in some situations, such as when the vehicle is ascending an uphill grade or where doing so may deactivate an active downhill speed control function.
