  • Patent number: 12644346
Abstract: A system that can include slips configured to selectively engage a tubular string that extends into a wellbore, a slips lifter configured to selectively raise or lower the slips, and a link configured to decouple the slips from the slips lifter when the slips are rotated relative to the slips lifter. A method that can include operations of coupling a slips lifter, via a link, to slips on a rig floor, engaging the slips to a tubular, rotating the slips relative to the slips lifter, and decoupling the slips from the slips lifter by decoupling a first element of the link from a second element of the link in response to rotation of the slips.

Assignee: Nabors Drilling Technologies USA, Inc.
Inventors: Eric Deutsch, Johnny Harris, Nathan Rose
  • Patent number: 12492404
Abstract: The invention provides a Noctuid dsx splice cassette for expression of a gene of interest on a sex-specific basis, gene expression systems for imparting a self-limiting trait to transformed Noctuidae, as well as transgenic Noctuidae and methods of suppressing populations of Noctuidae and reducing, inhibiting or eliminating crop damage caused by the Noctuid insects.

  • Publication number: 20210324409
Abstract: The invention provides a gene expression system that imparts homozygous, sex-specific lethality in arthropods, particularly Tephritid insects, such as Ceratitis capitata. The arthropod strains produce males that are also engineered to be sterile. The sterile may be released to mate with wild female to suppress propagation of the arthropod population.

  • Patent number: 10726060
Abstract: A technology for determining accuracy estimates for classifications used in an electronic catalog. In one example, classifications for product groupings included in an electronic catalog may be updated as a result of the classifications inaccurately representing products included in the product groupings. The electronic catalog of products may be grouped into a plurality of product groupings using classifications. Classifications of product groupings that inaccurately represent products included in the product grouping may be updated with suggested classifications. Update metrics for updates made to the grouping classifications may be collected and the update metrics may be used to calculate an accuracy estimate for the classifications used in the electronic catalog.
