Abstract: A cleaning rod or implement for the bore of airguns, which rod has a highly flexible, non-metallic tubular body having a rotatably-mounted pusher piece secured at one end thereof for pushing a cleaning pellet through the bore of the gun and expelling it from the muzzle, while tracking and following the rifling, said pusher piece having an angularly divergent surface engaging the pellet to compress the trailing end thereof.

Abstract: A key cutting device (20), for replacement keys, having a key blank support member (30), a lever-actuated shearing punch (25) for the key blank, and a depth-gauging stop (33) for the support member (30); the shearing punch (25) is formed to provide an optional two-step (44, 46) cut on the key with a control stop (49) for limiting the stroke of the punch to one step or two steps, as desired, for creating different cuts on the key blank; a locking device (63) automatically moves into locking position with respect to the yieldably-actuated support member (30) to prevent its displacement when the operating lever (37) is manipulated for the key cutting operation.

Abstract: A pill-splitting implement or tool having self-centering means for positioning a pill in desired alignment with the path of movement of a pill-engaging projection in the form of a blade, wedge or edge. The projection is movably associated with the pill-holding structure, which preferably retains the pill in an elevated position above a support base to provide a clearance space or area underlaying the pill to enhance clean, sharp splitting of the pill. The pill holding means is preferably of a resilient character to accommodate and yield to the displacement of the pill during the splitting or dividing operation.

Abstract: A retractable overhead guard for use on vertical lifting machines which protects an operator of such equipment from falling objects or material. The overhead guard swings down into protective position in response to vertical load lifting movement by the machine and retracts to a non-obstructing position in response to load-lowering movement of the machine.
