  • Patent number: 10059278
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to a cable harness. The cable harness may include a female connector, a male connector, main wires, and branch wires. The female connector and the male connector may each comply with a Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) J1962 standard and may each have a plurality of pins. Each of the main wires may electrically couple a respective one of the pins of the male connector to a corresponding respective one of the pins of the female connector. Each of the branch wires may electrically couple to a respective one of the main wires via a respective T-splice. A first pair of the branch wires may provide a branch connection to a first Controller Area Network (CAN) bus wire combination. A second pair of the branch wires may provide a branch connection to a second CAN bus wire combination.

  • Publication number: 20080034921
Abstract: Processes for the production of metal nanoparticles. In one aspect, the invention is to a process comprising the steps of mixing a heated first solution comprising a base and/or a reducing agent (e.g., a non-polyol reducing agent), a polyol, and a polymer of vinyl pyrrolidone with a second solution comprising a metal precursor that is capable of being reduced to a metal by the polyol. In another aspect, the invention is to a process that includes the steps of heating a powder of a polymer of vinyl pyrrolidone; forming a first solution comprising the powder and a polyol; and mixing the first solution with a second solution comprising a metal precursor capable of being reduced to a metal by the polyol.

  • Publication number: 20050084443
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a nanocrystallite from a M-containing salt forms a nanocrystallite. The nanocrystallite can be a member of a population of nanocrystallites having a narrow size distribution and can include one or more semiconductor materials. Semiconducting nanocrystallites can photoluminesce and can have high emission quantum efficiencies.
