  • Publication number: 20230308417
Abstract: A building management system network includes a Master-Slave/Token Passing (MS/TP) communication bus. The network further includes a number of Building Automation Control network (BACnet) devices, including a first BACnet device and a second BACnet device, coupled to the MS/TP communication bus. The network further includes a number of bridge devices, including a first bridge device, connected to the MS/TP communication bus. The first bridge device is located on the MS/TP communication bus between the first BACnet device and the second BACnet device. The first bridge device includes a processing circuit and a memory. The processing circuit is configured to receive a first MS/TP packet from the first BACnet device and selectively forward the first MS/TP packet to the second BACnet device based on a first security configuration. The first security configuration is stored in the memory.

  • Patent number: 10834864
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for applying manure to fields. Some apparatus and methods maintain constant height of a manure supply swing pipe above the ground during use. Pivotally mounted side wings supported by tracks or wheels and carrying manure applicators such and shanks and coulters can be carried along side of and secured to the apparatus tongue in a narrow configuration above the ground for transport and deployed in a wide configuration on the ground during use. Center rear mounted manure applicators are movable off the ground for transport using hydraulics in some apparatus. Some apparatus have the pivotally mounted side wings pivoted well inside of the outer most extent of the read center region to provide a narrower transport configuration.

  • Publication number: 20200149771
Abstract: A thermostat gateway device includes one or more circuits configured to receive a control input from a user device or from a sensor device via a first frequency band of a local wireless network, generate a control signal for the HVAC equipment using the control input, and provide the control signal to the HVAC equipment via a second frequency band of the local wireless network to affect operation of the HVAC equipment.

  • Patent number: 10165959
Abstract: An apparatus for use in diagnosing the presence of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) in a patient includes a sensing module structured to measure a parameter indicative of a tremor in the patient's neck, tongue and/or throat muscles while the patient is awake, the parameter not being airflow through the patient's airway. The sensing module generates one or more electrical signals based on the measured parameter. The apparatus also includes a processor operatively coupled to the sensing module, the processor being structured to receive the one or more electrical signals, perform an analysis of the one or more electrical signals, and based on the analysis determine whether the tremor has a frequency in at least one predetermined frequency range that is indicative of OSA.

  • Publication number: 20180370755
Abstract: Hose reel apparatus, systems, and methods for laying down and retrieving long lengths of hose from the ground. Hose reel systems can be pulled behind tractors and moved off center to expose the hose reel past a wheel on one side of the tractor. The move can be performed remotely, from within the tractor. The off center reel can pick up and wind hose. A remotely controlled variable displacement hydraulic motor can drive the reel rotation. The hose can be powered off the reel using the motor or dragged off the moving reel using the motor in zero displacement mode, with the change controlled from within the tractor. Hose can be wound onto the moving reel and the hose tension controlled by monitoring and controlling the hydraulic pressure and motor displacement from the tractor.
