The sensor assembly may include: a plurality of optical sensors arranged along a linear axis; and a window between the plurality of optical sensors and the wiper assembly. The wiper blade is longitudinally oriented parallel to the linear axis, and the wiper blade is configured to translate in a direction perpendicular to the linear axis while maintaining contact with the window during translation.

In some examples, the self-cleaning sensor apparatus can include an optical sensor; an actuator system to rotate a rotary joint of the self-cleaning sensor apparatus; a manifold directly or indirectly coupled to the rotary joint, the manifold being configured to rotate in response to a rotation of the rotary joint, and wherein the manifold is disposed at an angle relative to a top or bottom surface of the optical sensor; and one or more nozzles disposed within the manifold, the one or more nozzles being configured to spray compressed air on an exterior surface of the optical sensor, the exterior surface including a surface of a lens of the optical sensor and/or a surface configured to send and receive optical signals associated with the optical sensor.
