    Abstract: Apparatus and methods for mining a Uniform Resource Locator (“URL”) are provided. A method according to the embodiments includes generating a quick-response (“QR”) code including a data zone, a position detection pattern and an environmental zone. The method further includes storing an application programming interface (“API”) in a memory. The API is for retrieving a Uniform Resource Locator (“URL”) from a selected location. The URL includes a logo. The method also includes building the data zone, the position detection pattern and the environmental zone of the QR code based on the URL—and creating dark and light color categorization of a plurality of colors derived from the URL.
