  • Patent number: 11970038
Abstract: Particular embodiments may enable configuring settings of a vehicle in a designated mode. A signal to perform a vehicle leveling process using an electronically controlled suspension of a vehicle may be received. A roll angle and a pitch angle of the vehicle as parked may be assessed based on data received from a position sensor built into the vehicle. Signals to adjust an electronically controlled suspension of the vehicle to reduce the roll angle or the pitch angle so that the vehicle is level as parked may be sent based on the assessed roll angle and pitch angle exceeding a threshold value. Data may be transmitted to present information related to the vehicle leveling process in a graphical user interface.

  • Patent number: 11960342
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to sustainability-aware computing device behavior management. In examples, a sustainability platform obtains sustainability information associated with an energy grid, as may be provided by a data provider. The sustainability platform may provide a sustainability forecast, which may be received and cached by a computing device. The computing device may use the sustainability forecast to manage various device functionality, such that functionality may be performed during one or more times that are identified to have a comparatively lower environmental impact, thereby deferring device energy consumption during a time forecasted to have a higher environmental impact. The sustainability forecast cached by the computing device may be updated on a periodic basis or in response to determining that the location of the computing device (and, potentially, the associated energy grid) has changed, among other examples.

  • Patent number: 11923783
Abstract: A method for operating a multi-level bridge power converter includes arranging a plurality of switching devices including at least four inner switching devices and at least two outer switching devices in an active neutral point clamped topology. The method also includes determining whether any of the switching devices is experiencing a failure condition by implementing a failure detection algorithm. The failure detection algorithm includes generating a blocking state logic signal by comparing a switching device voltage and a threshold reference voltage for each of the switching devices, determining an expected voltage blocking state for each of the switching devices based on gate drive signals of the switching devices and an output current direction, and detecting whether a failure condition is present in any of the switching devices based on the blocking state logic signals and the expected voltage blocking states of the switching devices.

  • Publication number: 20240071593
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed that provide smart alerts to users, e.g., alerts to users about diabetic states that are only provided when it makes sense to do so, e.g., when the system can predict or estimate that the user is not already cognitively aware of their current condition, e.g., particularly where the current condition is a diabetic state warranting attention. In this way, the alert or alarm is personalized and made particularly effective for that user. Such systems and methods still alert the user when action is necessary, e.g., a bolus or temporary basal rate change, or provide a response to a missed bolus or a need for correction, but do not alert when action is unnecessary, e.g., if the user is already estimated or predicted to be cognitively aware of the diabetic state warranting attention, or if corrective action was already taken.

  • Publication number: 20230353039
Abstract: A controller-implemented method and system for operating a multi-level bridge power converter connected to a power grid in a fault-tolerant operational mode, the power converter including a first converter coupled to a DC link, the first converter comprising a plurality of switching devices. The method and system determine an on/off scheme for the switching devices in the first converter when one or more of the switching devices has failed in a shorted state, wherein the on/off scheme is dependent upon phase current direction through the first converter. The phase current direction is indirectly determined by sensing a pole voltage of the first converter and implementing the on/off scheme in the fault-tolerant mode when the pole voltage changes from zero to a +/?value indicating that the phase current through the first converter has switched direction.

  • Publication number: 20230344332
Abstract: A method for operating a multi-level bridge power converter of an electrical power system connected to a power grid includes receiving a commanded state for one or more switching devices thereof. The method also includes receiving a gate-emitter voltage of one or more of the switching devices. Further, the method includes comparing, via at least one comparator, the gate-emitter voltage of the one or more switching devices to a reference voltage range corresponding to the commanded state of the one or more switching devices. In addition, the method includes determining an actual state of the one or more switching devices based on the comparison. Thus, the method also includes implementing a control action based on the actual state of the one or more switching devices.

  • Patent number: 11775363
Abstract: A method for auditing a graph-based API includes obtaining a structure describing object types of the API and fields of the object types. A schema graph of the structure is generated including nodes representing object types. The nodes are connected by directed edges representing field resolution between object types. A line graph is generated and includes a node in place of each edge of the schema graph and edges in place of nodes of the schema graph. Frontiers of the line graph are determined, a frontier being subgraph of the line graph such that (1) the subgraph is rooted at a line graph node that represents a field of the API that accepts at least one field argument and (2) the subgraph is a maximal subgraph of the line graph that is disjoint from other line graph nodes that represent fields that accept at least one field argument.

  • Patent number: 11594953
Abstract: A method for operating a multi-level bridge power converter of an electrical power system connected to a power grid includes providing a plurality of switching devices of the power converter in one of a neutral point clamped topology or an active neutral point clamped topology, the plurality of switching devices including a first group and a second group of switching devices. The method also includes providing a multi-state deadtime for the first and second groups of switching devices that changes based on different state transitions of the power converter. Further, the method includes operating the first and second groups of switching devices according to the multi-state deadtime to allow the first group to switch differently than the second group during the different state transitions, thereby decreasing voltage overshoots on the first group during one or more of the different state transitions and providing safe transition between commutation states of the power converter.
