Patent number: 11710112Abstract: The systems and methods described herein provide for facilitating in-person payments at a transaction kiosk. First, the system provides an authentication interface for display at a network-enabled transaction kiosk. A user is authenticated at the kiosk via the authentication interface, and based on that authentication, the system detects a payment application and a payment request corresponding to the user, wherein the payment application is associated with a service provider and the payment request was created with the payment application. Next, the system identifies a user interface scheme associated with the payment application, and then updates the user interface for display at the transaction kiosk to match the user interface scheme, then initiates a blockchain payment based on the payment request.Type: GrantFiled: October 8, 2021Date of Patent: July 25, 2023Assignee: BITACCESS INC.Inventors: Mohammed Adham, Nathaniel Wood

Patent number: 11592002Abstract: Disclosed embodiments provide a renewable power generation apparatus. In embodiments, the renewable power generation apparatus is driven by wind. In other embodiments, the renewable power generation apparatus is driven by water. Disclosed embodiments utilize two cylindrical turbines placed adjacent to each other. A diverter directs wind towards both turbines, causing them to rotate about their respective longitudinal axis. The turbines are coupled to a driveshaft that drives a generator to generate power. Embodiments utilize an airfoil adjacent to each turbine. The airfoil causes air to move faster over the airfoil surface to create low pressure which increases the performance of the turbines. The renewable power generation apparatus of disclosed embodiments is relatively compact compared to a traditional wind turbine.Type: GrantFiled: March 1, 2022Date of Patent: February 28, 2023Inventor: Nathaniel Wood

Publication number: 20220335397Abstract: The systems and methods described herein provide a compliance determination for a customer at a transaction kiosk. First, the system provides, for display at a network-enabled transaction kiosk, a transaction interface for a user. The system selects or receives an approved transaction level for the user, with the transaction level including a transaction limit and one or more required datapoints for compliance of the transaction level. The system then detects a transaction attempt of the user which exceeds the transaction limit of the transaction level for the user, then determines a location of the user and a financial institution associated with the transaction kiosk. The system sends a prompt to the user at the transaction interface to provide one or more required datapoints for a higher transaction level. The system then receives the one or required datapoints, and associates the user with the higher transaction level.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 7, 2022Publication date: October 20, 2022Inventors: Mohammed ADHAM, Nathaniel WOOD

Patent number: 8587399Abstract: A split-core current transformer core comprises a U-core section in combination with a closing-bar core section that has extra length, width, and cross-sectional area as compared to the U-core section, shielding above and below secondary windings wound on bobbins that are mounted around leg portions of the U-core section and extending at least partially along a yoke portion of the core that joins the leg portions of the core, unitary construction and assemblage that accommodates calibration of output signals after assembly of the components in a base module and cover module that is hinged to the base module and has squeeze latches formed in a unitary manner with the cover housing such that they do not require assembly and do not protrude outwardly from adjacent surfaces in either open or closed mode, and other features that minimize magnetic reluctance and increase clearance and creepage distances.Type: GrantFiled: February 6, 2012Date of Patent: November 19, 2013Assignee: Continental Control Systems, LLCInventors: Nathaniel Wood Crutcher, Gerald Anthony Hannam, Samuel F.
