  • Publication number: 20140193585
Abstract: A method for modifying the probe tip of a microscope, including the following steps of providing a substrate, providing a metal precursor solution with fluoride ion on the substrate, using the probe tip to dip into the metal precursor solution with fluoride ion on the substrate in order to form a nano-metal particle on the probe tip by the reduction reaction of at least one metal ion in the metal precursor solution. As the result, the probe tip having the nano-metal particle thereon can increase the spatial-resolution of the measuring performance of the field sensitive scanning probe microscope due to the great reduction of stray field effects.

  • Publication number: 20140035479
Abstract: An LED driver circuit structure with over-current suppression is provided. The LED driver circuit includes a DC-DC converter, a voltage detector, a reference voltage supplier module, an error amplifier, a comparator, and an SR-latch. The LED driver circuit structure controls the output voltage and thus the output current of the DC-DC converter by multi-step switching of reference voltages and current levels to achieve over-current suppression, thereby extending an LED endurance period and increasing a PWM dimming frequency range for LED brightness control applications.

  • Publication number: 20140027823
Abstract: A method for forming a metal compound film includes: providing a substrate structure; forming a first metal layer on the substrate structure; performing a first microwave annealing process to conduct a reaction between the first metal layer and the substrate structure so as to form a first polycrystalline film of a metal compound; and performing a second microwave annealing process to transform the first polycrystalline film into a second polycrystalline film of the metal compound with an enlarged grain size, wherein a microwave power output used in the second microwave annealing process is higher than that used in the first microwave annealing process.

  • Publication number: 20130262006
Abstract: A white LED quality inspection method includes steps as follows. A steady current is supplied to a LED by a rated voltage supply unit for generation of a stable light spot from the LED; a stable light spot is received by a photosensor of a luminous intensity sensing unit and transformed to digital information; the digital information is received by a preprocessing unit and transformed to pixel information; the pixel information is received by a calculation unit to calculate a Yellow Ring Index of each pixel in the pixel information.

  • Publication number: 20130182330
Abstract: A head-up display device includes an image module, a substrate, and an optical film. The image module has an emitting source, wherein the emitting source transmits at least one image. The substrate is disposed corresponding to the image module. The optical film is disposed on the substrate and includes at least one transmission layer, wherein each transmission layer has a plurality of transmitting column structures obliquely arranged side by side, and a longitudinal direction of the transmitting column structure has a tilt angle with respect to a normal of the substrate. The at least one image is transmitted to the optical film, and the obliquely disposed transmitting column structures cause the at least one image to scatter on the optical film.

  • Publication number: 20130139452
Abstract: A buckling restrained brace includes an axial member, a plurality of restraining members, and a plurality of securing units. The axial member includes a middle section extending in an axial direction, and two coupling sections extending respectively from opposite ends of the middle section and coupled fixedly to two connecting plates of a framework of a building. The restraining members extend in the axial direction and are disposed around and contact the axial member. Each securing unit secures an adjacent pair of the restraining members together. Each restraining member cooperates with an adjacent one of the restraining members to define an opening therebetween through which a portion of the axial member is exposed for viewing.
