  • Publication number: 20190230334
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an image producing apparatus and an image producing method each of which enables a highly accurate parallax image to be produced. A parallax image producing portion, by using an area in which an exclusion area as at least one area of an overexposure area or an underexposure area within a plurality of exposure pair images photographed at a plurality of exposure values every pair of two points of view, produces a parallax image expressing parallax of the pair of two points of view. The present disclosure, for example, can be applied to an image producing apparatus or the like which produces an HDR omnidirectional image.

  • Patent number: 9542729
Abstract: There is provided an image processing device including a depth acquisition unit and a smoothing processing unit. The depth acquisition unit acquires a depth to a subject in correlation with a pixel in a captured image of the subject, and the smoothing processing unit designates a pixel in a region excluding a predetermined region in the image as a target pixel, and performs a smoothing process of the degree according to the depth corresponding to the target pixel for a pixel value of the target pixel in a predetermined direction. This causes a pixel in a region excluding the predetermined region in the image to be blurred, thereby generating a panning image.

  • Publication number: 20150195378
Abstract: The present technique relates to an information processing apparatus, a server, an information processing method, and an information processing system that can control electronic mail reception in accordance with an emotion or a state of a receiver. A communication control unit receives main information transmitted from a sender, and sender information related to the emotion or the state of the sender at the time of the transmission of the main information. A data acquiring unit acquires receiver information related to the emotion or the state of a receiver. An analyzing unit analyzes the main information, the sender information, and the receiver information. A determining unit determines whether the main information is to be presented based on a result of the analysis carried out by the analyzing unit. The present technique can be applied to an information processing apparatus that is operated by a user and exchanges information with another apparatus being operated by another user.

  • Publication number: 20150003740
Abstract: There is provided an image processing device including a focus area setting section, a depth acquisition section, and a blur processing section. The focus area setting section sets each of a plurality of areas as a focus area, and the each of the plurality of areas is intended to be kept in focus in a captured image of a subject. The depth acquisition section acquires a depth of the subject in relation to each pixel in the image. The blur processing section sets each of the pixels in the image as a target pixel and performs a blur process on the target pixel in accordance with a minimum value of absolute value of each depth difference between depth corresponding to the target pixel and depth corresponding to each of the focus area.
