Abstract: A system and method for transferring electronic receipts to a user device is disclosed. In some embodiments, the system comprises, a point of sale device configured for generating a receipt in the electronic file format, and a beamer device comprising, a processor configured for fetching the electronic receipt from the point of sale device, an input/output module configured for receiving at least a selection of a channel among one or more channels from a user of the user device for transferring the electronic receipt to the user device, wherein the one or more channels comprises at least one of a Bluetooth, Near Field Communication, Tethering or phone-as-modem (PAM), Wi-Fi and Internet, and a communication module configured for communicating the electronic receipt to the user device through the selected the selected channel.
