  • Patent number: 11405183
Abstract: Methods and systems are described for using cache objects to store events for adding corresponding objects in a blockchain. In one implementation, a first cache object is identified. The cache object stores events published responsive to updates, insertions, or deletions of records in a database object. An identifier for the cache object is based on a time window with which the cache object is associated, and an identifier for the database object. Events are retrieved from a cache that includes the cache object, based on the identifier for the cache object. The events were stored in the cache object during the time window. A block is added to a blockchain. The block's payload includes objects corresponding to a subset of the events.

  • Patent number: 11196728
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described for caching login sessions to access a software testing environment. A server identifies a test case for execution against an application in the software testing environment, the test case comprising one or more test steps. The server retrieves test data based upon the identified test case and generates a session key using the test data. The server requests an active session from a login session cache using the session key. When an active session exists in the login session cache, the server receives, from the login session cache, session data corresponding to the active session, establishes a connection to the application in the software testing environment using the session data and without first authenticating to the software testing environment, and executes one or more test steps of the test case against the application in the software testing environment using the test data.

  • Patent number: 11074641
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes receiving, from a requestor, a request for an on-demand product. The method further includes determining an eligibility token format applicable to the request, wherein the eligibility token format comprises a plurality of partial segments of identifying information. The method also includes prompting the requestor to provide a plurality of partial-segment values corresponding to the plurality of partial segments. In addition, the method includes receiving the plurality of partial-segment values in response to the prompting. Moreover, the method includes generating an eligibility token from the plurality of partial-segment values. The method also includes determining the requestor's eligibility for the on-demand product based, at least in part, on a lookup of the eligibility token in an eligibility token repository. The eligibility token repository includes a plurality of eligibility tokens of the eligibility token format.

  • Patent number: 10289445
Abstract: Methods and systems are described for automatically deactivating application features in a web-based application environment. A server establishes a communication session with remote devices in which a web-based application provided by the server is accessed, the web-based application including an activated application feature that is available to users of the application. The server captures (i) computer resource usage data associated with execution of the activated feature by the remote devices, (ii) computer transaction volume data associated with execution of the activated feature by the remote devices, and (iii) user feedback data associated with use of the activated feature by the users. The server analyzes the computer resource usage data, the computer transaction volume data, and the user feedback data to determine whether to deactivate the activated application feature.

  • Patent number: 10032168
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses, including computer program products, are described for secure validation of financial transactions. A server computing device registers a mobile device to receive notification messages from the server computing device. The server computing device transmits a notification message via a first communication channel to a notification agent executing on the registered mobile device, where the message identifies activity associated with a financial account of a user of the registered mobile device. The server computing device receives a response to the notification message via a second communication channel from an application executing on the registered mobile device, if the notification message requires a response. The server computing device stores the response in a database coupled to the server computing device, and determines whether to (i) allow, (ii) deny, or (iii) deny and report as fraud the identified activity based upon the response.

  • Patent number: 9900299
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide techniques for receiving, authenticating, parsing, and storing operational status data (or telemetry data) from one or more hardware and software systems within an aggregated computing infrastructure. Operational status data may be transmitted over secure transmission channels and stored within secure data stores at a computing infrastructure analyzer. Additionally, some embodiments describe techniques for creating, storing, and retrieving operational risk rules that may apply to one or more computing infrastructures. Based on the operational risk rules, one or more determinations may be performed to identify data items for extraction from the received telemetry data of an aggregated computing infrastructure. Using the extracted telemetry data items, one or more operational risk rules may be evaluated with respect to the aggregated computing infrastructure.

  • Patent number: 9842629
Abstract: A memory including current-limiting devices and methods of operating the same to prevent a spread of soft errors along rows in an array of memory cells in the memory are provided. In one embodiment, the method begins with providing a memory comprising an array of a plurality of memory cells arranged in rows and columns, wherein each of the columns is coupled to a supply voltage through one of a plurality of current-limiting devices, Next, each of the plurality of current-limiting devices are configured to limit current through each of the columns so that current through a memory cell in a row of the column due to a soft error rate event does not result in a lateral spread of soft errors to memory cells in the row in an adjacent column. Other embodiments are also provided.

  • Patent number: 9155791
Abstract: A compound in the form of a metallized tetrapyrollic photosensitizer linked to a fluorescent dye where the photosensitizer (PS), is linked by a structure that does not have detrimental radiation emittance or absorbing characteristics, to a fluorophore, usually a cyanine dye (CD). The photosensitizer in accordance the invention is a metallized analog of porphyrins, chlorins, purpurinimides, bacterio pupurinimides, phthalocyanines, expanded porphyrins, benzoporphyrin derivatives and purpurins. The fluorophore is usually a cyanine dye with variable substituents. And, A method for determining effectiveness of PDT by comparing proportion of STAT-3 monomer with crosslinked STAT-3 dimer after PDT where the relative proportion of STAT-3 monomer to crosslinked STAT-3 directly correlates to efficacy of the PDT.
