Patent number: 8047410Abstract: A hanging clothing assembly includes a hanger, a clothing item, and a hanging strap. The hanger has a body portion and an upper support portion. The clothing item has a free-hanging length and defines an upper portion configured to be worn over an upper body of a wearer and a lower portion configured to be worn over a lower body of the wearer. The upper portion of the clothing item is supported on the body portion of the hanger. The hanging strap is secured to the lower portion of the clothing item and is also releasably secured in a closed loop that extends about the lower portion of the clothing item. The closed loop is releasably secured to the hanger such that the lower portion is supported from the hanger and the clothing item defines a display-hanging length that is less than the free-hanging length of the clothing item.Type: GrantFiled: May 1, 2008Date of Patent: November 1, 2011Assignee: Target Brands, Inc.Inventors: Katie Holm, Neal Anderson

Patent number: 7909363Abstract: A label is provided having three parts separated by separation lines. Two of the three parts have pull tabs to allow them to be easily removed. The third part is a narrow strip between the separation lines that does not have a pull tab. When the label parts that have pull tabs are lifted off a product, the label separates at the separation lines, leaving the third narrow strip on the product. This narrow strip is then removed with a scraping action that tends to destroy the narrow strip. This makes it difficult to reconstruct the label after it has been removed from a product. In other embodiments, the label has two parts made of material that stretches when the parts are removed from a product. The stretching distorts a barcode graphic printed on the label making the barcode unreadable.Type: GrantFiled: June 20, 2008Date of Patent: March 22, 2011Assignee: Target Brands, Inc.Inventor: Neal Anderson

Patent number: 7874430Abstract: A product container assembly includes a first product enclosure, a cover panel, and a product overlay. The first product enclosure is adapted to house a first product component and includes a support panel, a first side panel, a back panel extending from the first side panel, and a second side panel extending from the back panel, the second side panel being secured to the support panel. The cover panel extends from the second side panel and is hingedly secured to the first product enclosure such that the cover panel is folded over the support panel, the cover panel having a bubble window. The product overlay includes a base portion secured between the support panel and the cover panel and a bubble portion projecting through the bubble window. The bubble portion is adapted to house a second product component separately from the first product component and to allow viewing of the second product component through the bubble portion.Type: GrantFiled: August 29, 2008Date of Patent: January 25, 2011Assignee: Target Brands, Inc.Inventors: Neal Anderson, Brandon Ferraro, Alex Ellendson

Patent number: 7779996Abstract: A container includes a housing having an open top and a lid attached to the housing. The lid includes a first panel having a first edge and a second edge, a second panel having a first edge and a second edge, and a third panel. The first edge of the first panel is attached to the housing at a first hinge. The first edge of the second panel is attached to the second edge of the first panel at a second hinge. The third panel is attached to the second edge of the second panel at a third hinge. The lid is positionable in a first position and a second position. When the lid is in the first position, the lid covers the open top of the housing and the first hinge and the third hinge form a virtual hinge. When the lid is in the second position, the lid forms an A-Frame over the open top such that the second panel forms a display platform. The third panel maintains the lid in the second position.Type: GrantFiled: May 30, 2008Date of Patent: August 24, 2010Assignee: Target Brands, Inc.Inventors: Susan M.
