  • Publication number: 20250098635
Abstract: An animal grooming device includes a body, a plurality of grooming elements secured to the body, an upper peripheral rim extending around a periphery of the body, the upper peripheral rim and top side of the body forming a reservoir to hold therapeutic material therein. An applicator pad is placed within said reservoir to selectively control dispensing of the material through an exposed surface of the applicator pad. Another embodiment includes a plurality of passageways formed through the body in which the material is dispensed from the reservoir or applicator pad through the passageways to a bottom side of the body adjacent to the grooming elements. A method of delivering the therapeutic material by the grooming device is achieved by filling the reservoir and then applying the pressure to the applicator pad causing dispensing of the material onto the animal through the passageways.

  • Patent number: 11499480
Abstract: A combustor cap assembly, combustor and related method are disclosed. The combustor cap assembly includes: an impingement plate defining a plurality of impingement cooling holes with a first side of the impingement plate in fluid communication with a cooling air plenum. The assembly also includes a combustor cap plate coupled to the impingement plate, such that an impingement air plenum is defined between a second side of the impingement plate and the combustor cap plate. Tubes extend from at least a portion of the plurality of impingement cooling holes at the second side of the impingement plate and extend partially towards the combustor cap plate through the impingement air plenum. The plurality of impingement cooling holes provides for fluid communication between the cooling air plenum and the impingement air plenum through the tubes.

  • Patent number: 11371706
Abstract: The premixed pilot nozzle includes axially elongated tubes defined within a plenum between an outer shroud and a first shroud disposed radially inward of the outer shroud. The tubes extend between tube inlets defined through a forward face and tube outlets defined through an aft face. A second shroud is disposed radially inward of the first shroud, thereby defining a fuel plenum between the first shroud and the second shroud, and the fuel plenum is in communication with a gaseous fuel supply. A fuel injection port, which is positioned between the tube inlet and the tube outlet of each tube, is in fluid communication with the fuel plenum. An air supply configured to fluidly communicate with the tube inlet of each tube. • Publication number: 20210275942
Abstract: A combination for purifying a liquid, such as used cooking oil, unrefined edible oil, biodiesel fuel, rendered fat, or dielectric fluids comprising a container comprising a holding portion having at least one wall portion and at least one portion that is designed to fail structurally upon heating of the liquid, such as at least one cap portion, which is connected detachably to the holding portion. The combination also comprises at least one purifying material, such as an adsorbent powder, contained in the holding portion of the container. Upon contact of the container with the liquid and heating of the liquid, at least one of the at least one portion(s) that is designed to fail structurally provides at least one opening in the container, whereby the liquid is contacted by the at least one purifying material, and the liquid is purified.
