Abstract: A “splash” hoop toy relating to the original “Hula Hoop” is constructed with “splash” holes around the circumference of the tube and filled with water. During play (rotating the hoop around the body of the user) the water streams out of the holes and splashes anyone in the vicinity of the “splash hoop”. The number of holes, the volume of water inside the hoop as well as the size and location of the holes determines who will get wet and how wet they will get.
