  • Publication number: 20240188073
Abstract: An application may provide prebooking information for multiple packet streams to a baseband processor. The prebooking information may include some or all of a first packet stream and information describing one or more additional packet streams. The baseband processor may generate a buffer status report (BSR) corresponding to multiple packet streams to the extent that the data for the packet streams are to arrive at the baseband processor prior to the a preconfigured duration (e.g., the baseband processor receiving a dynamic grant (DG) from the base station). In this sense, application data may be prebooked, by the baseband processor and/or base station, before actually arriving at the baseband processor. These and many other examples and techniques described herein, including the use of dummy packets for a DG, managing DGs based on dummy packets, and more.

  • Patent number: 12001765
Abstract: The present document describes techniques associated with a textile-material model for vibroacoustic structural simulation. The techniques described herein provide a nontrivial methodology to test a textile and simplify its representation, which can enable prediction of acoustic performance (e.g., rub and buzz) of an electronic-speaker device having a textile mounted thereon. The textile is modeled as a textile-material model based on an elongation stiffness obtained from a time-temperature superposition curve of the textile, which is based on a dynamic mechanical analysis test of the textile in each of course and wale directions. The textile-material model is then applied to an assembly model of the electronic-speaker device to simulate a vibroacoustic response of the textile relative to the assembly model to predict a likelihood of rub and buzz.

  • Patent number: 12001287
Abstract: Described embodiments provide systems and methods for detection of the degradation of a virtual desktop environment. A computing device may receive data from a plurality of client devices. The computing device may identify a subset of client devices from the plurality of client devices with at least one characteristic in common based on the received data. The computing device may determine a ratio of the identified subset of client devices, the ratio being a comparison of client devices of the subset with a value above a first threshold to a total number of client devices of the subset, and the value being indicative of a characteristic of performance for that client device. The computing device may identify a cause of an anomaly in the performance of the application based on the ratio exceeding a second threshold.

  • Publication number: 20240179188
Abstract: A system and method for authorization policy analysis. A policy analyzer answers first-order questions about authorization policies by reducing the policies to Satisfiability modulo theories (SMT). Input to the analyzer includes a policy to be analyzed and a schema for that policy. If the policy passes strict validation against the schema, then the analyzer symbolically evaluates the policy to encode its semantics as an SMT expression. The SMT expression is used for formulate a desired query about policy behavior such as, for example, if there is any input on which two policies both evaluate to true. The reduction to SMT produces a quantifier-free formula in a combination of decidable theories to support large scale deployments. This reduction is achieved by focusing the analysis on policies that pass strict validation, rather than attempting to analyze arbitrary policies.

  • Publication number: 20240179182
Abstract: A system and method for authorization policy validation. A validator takes as input an authorization policy to be analyzed and a schema that specifies entity types and their attributes, types of entity parents in an entity hierarchy, and which entity types can be used with which actions. The validator checks that the policy conforms to the schema. If the check passes, then the policy is guaranteed to be free of both type errors and attribute access errors for any input that conforms to the schema.

  • Publication number: 20240177160
Abstract: A scalable influence concentration community detection apparatus comprising an optical quantum computing device capable of nomogram analysis to provide detection of a fraudster community. A consent mechanism for sourcing consent & data from social media websites may be implemented through oscillation cryptography. Community detection may be used to determine influence concentration for each customer of the organization's customer base through the data collated by a central organization, various financial institutions, and/or social media websites. An optical quantum computing based nomogram is used to detect a community profile for relationships between users. A consent method to source data from social websites may leverage photonic waves superimposition with another security mechanism.

  • Publication number: 20240179181
Abstract: A system and method for authorization policy evaluation. Authorization policies are authored in a general-purpose authorization language. An evaluation engine is used in a provider network by application developers to manage access within their applications based on fine-grained permissions. The policy language combines elements of role-based and attributed-based access control within an intuitive syntax and efficient evaluation strategy. The policy syntax separates role-based expressions of a policy from attribute-based expressions of the policy.

  • Publication number: 20240171550
Abstract: An approach is disclosed that receives a request from a requestor over a computer network, the request including a set of encrypted user data that includes interest vectors pertaining to a set of users. A homomorphic encryption processing of the encrypted user data is performed using a distance function that utilizes an encrypted lookup table. This results in a set of distance results. An encrypted distance array is then generated from the distance results. The encrypted distance array describes similarities between the users in the set of encrypted data. A set of encrypted recommendations are returned to the requestor. The recommendations returned are derived from the encrypted distance array.

  • Patent number: 11986633
Abstract: Techniques related to temporary setpoint values are disclosed. The techniques may involve causing operation of a fluid delivery device in a closed-loop mode for automatically delivering fluid based on a difference between a first setpoint value and an analyte concentration value during operation of the fluid delivery device in the closed-loop mode. Additionally, the techniques may involve obtaining a second setpoint value. The second setpoint value may be a temporary setpoint value to be used for a period of time to regulate fluid delivery, and the second setpoint value may be greater than the first setpoint value. The techniques may further involve causing operation of the fluid delivery device for automatically reducing fluid delivery for the period of time based on the second setpoint value.

  • Publication number: 20240160745
Abstract: An integrated circuit includes a secure asset, a security system, and an efficacy decoder. The security system is triggered to operate in one of its functional states. Further, the security system receives various test requests for an access to the secure asset, and determines, based on the triggered functional state thereof, one or more test requests authorized to access the secure asset. The efficacy decoder similarly receives the test requests and determines one or more allowable requests for the triggered functional state of the security system. Further, the efficacy decoder determines an efficacy value for the security system based on a comparison between the test requests authorized by the security system and the allowable requests associated with the triggered functional state. The efficacy value is indicative of a security level of the security system operating in the triggered functional state.
