  • Publication number: 20220131836
Abstract: Threat detection instrumentation is simplified by providing and updating labels for computing objects in a context-sensitive manner. This may include simple labeling schemes to distinguish between objects, e.g., trusted/untrusted processes or corporate/private data. This may also include more granular labeling schemes such as a three-tiered scheme that identifies a category (e.g., financial, e-mail, game), static threat detection attributes (e.g., signatures, hashes, API calls), and explicit identification (e.g., what a file or process calls itself). By tracking such data for various computing objects and correlating these labels to malware occurrences, rules can be written for distribution to endpoints to facilitate threat detection based on, e.g., interactions of labeled objects, changes to object labels, and so forth.

  • Publication number: 20210381205
Abstract: A wear assembly such as an adapter for a cable shovel having a Whisler-style lip has two legs extending over the lip, and a hole in the legs arranged to align with a hole in the lip. A locking member is inserted in the hole, and hooked around a pivot surface in the lower leg. An actuator is inserted into the hole in the upper leg, and engages with t top end of the locking member. Movement of the actuator causes pivoting of the locking member, and results in the locking member bearing against the lip hole in order to lock the wear assembly in position.

  • Patent number: 10951642
Abstract: A threat management facility that remotely stores global reputation information for network content can be used in combination with a recognition engine such as a machine learning classifier that is locally deployed on endpoints within an enterprise network. More specifically, the recognition engine can locally evaluate reputation for a network address being accessed by an endpoint, and this reputation information can be used to dynamically establish a timeout for a request from the endpoint to the threat management facility for corresponding global reputation information.

  • Patent number: 10910683
Abstract: This disclosure details exemplary battery pack designs for use in electrified vehicles or other electrified components. An exemplary battery pack may include a heat exchanger plate assembly having a metallic plate and a polymeric plate that are joined together to establish a coolant circuit therebetween. The metallic plate or the polymeric plate may include a protrusion that extends through an opening of the other of the metallic plate or the polymeric plate. The protrusion may either be crimped or heat staked to a surface surrounding the opening in order to join together the metallic plate and the polymeric plate of the heat exchanger plate assembly.

  • Patent number: 10728269
Abstract: A security agent conditionally hooks a process for malware monitoring based on a persistent hook state for the process that may be stored, for example, in a process cache. When a process launches in a backoff state indicating that the process previously crashed after hooking, the security agent may further conditionally hook the process based on a reputation of the process or any other relevant contextual information.

  • Publication number: 20200187964
Abstract: A weight-bearing stance corrected foot orthotic (12) is adapted to be used on the foot (2) of a anaesthetised patient in the supine or prone position, the weight bearing stance corrected foot orthotic (12) adapted to dorsiflex the toes of the forefoot of the patient an angle of between 30° to 50° to the plane of the foot (2). A surgical foot orthotic (12) is formed by the steps of disposing a patient's foot (2) or both feet in a weight bearing neutral position and dorsiflexing the forefoot or forefeet of the patient such that patient's foot (2) or feet are in or towards the Windlass configuration. A first orthotic (5) correcting the stance of the patient in the weight bearing position with dorsiflexed forefoot is formed and this is scanned to form an electronic image of the corrective load bearing surface.
